AMAGIC 24 Pack Battery Operated Flameless LED Tealights for Votive and Decor
Product description
What it is
These are 24 battery-operated flameless LED tea lights designed to mimic the warm glow of real tealights without the fire risk. Each candle ships with batteries pre-installed, and they fit standard tea light holders (1.41 inch wide x 1.37 inch high).
How they work
The tealights use AG10 button cell batteries. To replace them, you unscrew the bottom switch cover, note that each candle requires 2 AG batteries to operate. The set is designed to stay lit even in drafts, making them a reliable choice for indoor decorations and events.
Strengths and caveats
On the positive side, the warm yellow LED creates a cosy ambience suitable for dining tables, weddings, Christmas decor, or romantic occasions. They offer a practical alternative to traditional candles, reducing fire hazards and wind-blown flames. A potential limitation is that battery upkeep is required, if you anticipate heavy use, you’ll need spare batteries on hand and a routine for replacing them.
Who it’s for
If you value a safe, low-maintenance lighting option for homes, parties, or seasonal decorations, this 24-pack provides scalable aesthetics for multiple venues or tables. It’s also helpful for venues that avoid open flames but still want a genuine tealight feel.
When it makes sense to buy
Consider this set if you’re decorating a venue, planning a multi-table table setting, or preparing seasonal displays (weddings, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Halloween). The option to expand across multiple sets (12, 24, 50, 100) gives flexibility for varying spaces and budgets.
What to check before buying
- Confirm you’re comfortable handling small button batteries and keeping them away from children and pets.
- Ensure the tea light holders you plan to use match the stated dimensions.
- Remember that battery replacement will be needed over time, budget for replacement batteries if you’re outfitting large spaces.
Practical usage ideas
Place these on dining tables to create a soft centrepiece, or scatter them in a votive display for a low-lit, intimate atmosphere. They can also serve as reliable decorations for weddings and seasonal celebrations where open flames aren’t desirable.
How it compares to alternatives
Compared with traditional tealights, these are safer and wind-resistant, with the added benefit of longer life per set due to battery power. If you prioritise real candle aesthetics with less maintenance, this approach offers a sensible middle ground between ambience and practicality.
