Alpha Pets Compostable Dog Poo Bags 320
Product description
This pack of compostable dog poo bags offers a practical, lower-impact option for everyday walks, combining thicker film and easy-tie handles to make collection and carrying simpler. With 320 medium-large cornstarch bags in a dispenser box, the set aims to cover roughly three months of use if you average three to four bags per day, according to the manufacturer.
Key Points
The bags are EN13432 certified for compostability and are made entirely from plant-based cornstarch, so they do not contain micro-plastics or EPI additives. Each bag measures 25.5 x 36 cm and the material thickness is 17 microns, which the brand states adds tear resistance for handling in long grass or when picking up after more active dogs. The dispenser box keeps rolls tidy and ready for grab-and-go use, and the pack includes a total of 320 unscented bags suited to small, medium and large breeds.

Usage Recommendations
Pull a single bag from the dispenser, open and place your hand inside to pick up waste, then use the easy-tie handles to secure the contents before disposing of in a compost where accepted. For best composting results, follow local guidelines as home and industrial composting conditions vary, and note that household compost systems may require different handling compared with municipal organic waste streams. Also consider that decomposition times depend on temperature and moisture, so breakdown in under 12 months applies under suitable composting conditions according to the manufacturer.
Positive Aspects
The reinforced film and thicker material reduce the risk of tearing during use, while the easy-tie handles speed up knotting and carrying. Being unscented, the bags avoid adding fragrances that some pets and owners find unpleasant. The product presents a clear eco-friendly alternative to traditional single-use plastic bags by focusing on compostable, additive-free composition.
