## Description

This wired gaming mouse from Acer combines a high‑precision optical sensor with customisable controls for responsive play across PC, laptop and Mac. It balances accuracy and comfort for long sessions and competitive use.

## Key features

The mouse offers a maximum 12800 DPI that you can step through using four preset levels, and four polling rates up to 1000Hz for reduced latency. Programmable controls let you map macros and complex commands to eight buttons, while a dedicated rapid‑fire function can be adjusted from 8ms to 300ms according to your play style. The driver also enables deeper customisation of lighting and button assignments.

## Specifications

- Name: acer Wired Gaming Mouse
- Type: Wired gaming mouse
- Resolution: 12800 DPI
- Refresh rate: 1000Hz polling rate
- Memory: 8 programmable button profiles
- Colour: RGB with 12 backlights
- Compatibility: Windows 11 10 8 7 and macOS general use

## Why it makes sense

The ergonomics prioritise a secure right‑hand grip and a soft non‑slip silicone pad that helps during extended matches. Wired connection removes concerns about wireless lag, and the adjustable click force aims to keep inputs consistent across play styles. One limitation to note is that full programmable use requires the Acer driver, which is needed to unlock macros and lighting tweaks.

## How to use it

Install the driver to access macro programming, rapid‑fire timing and full RGB control, then pick a DPI and polling rate that match your game and sensitivity. It’s a good fit if you want straightforward wired performance with plenty of customisation and tactile comfort for sessions that last several hours. The mouse is suited to FPS MOBA and MMO play as well as general office or home use.
