Practical Tips

Encourage small, manageable projects to keep younger children engaged, for example making a simple animal from pipe cleaners and googly eyes or a beaded bracelet using larger beads. For older children, combine different elements like craft sticks and sequins to build room decorations or diorama details. Supervise glue or scissors use with younger kids and sort components by type before starting to make set-up and tidy-up quicker. 🎨

Advantages

The extensive mix of materials offers a broad palette for experimentation and mixed-media play, which can help improve hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. The compact organiser makes it straightforward to transport between home and school or to bring along for craft parties. Consider that, depending on the project complexity, additional specialised supplies such as stronger adhesive or fine paintbrushes may be useful for certain ideas. 🧵✨.
