## Description

This extendable tension rod offers a simple, drill-free way to hang shower curtains, lightweight doors or clothing in bathrooms, wardrobes and windows. It fits spaces from 83 to 160 cm and is designed to stay in place with an anti-slip head while resisting rust, making it useful for humid areas and temporary fittings.

## Key Points

The rod is ready to use without tools, so it suits quick installations and short-term arrangements as well as more permanent solutions. According to the manufacturer, the head has an anti-slip finish and the rod carries a maximum load of 10 kg, which covers most curtains, liners and light storage needs. The white painted finish helps the rail blend into bathroom decor while offering some resistance to corrosion. For best results, check that the mounting surfaces are flat and clean before extending the rod to avoid slippage. 🚿

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Tension Rod 83-160cm**
- Diameter: **25 mm**
- Length range: 83–160 cm (32.68–62.99 inches)
- Maximum load: **10 kg**
- Colour: White

## Advantages

This solution is compact and unobtrusive, useful where drilling is not permitted or when a fast rearrangement is required. The thicker spring inside the tube helps maintain pressure against walls and reduces the chance of sagging over time. It also doubles as a temporary rail for lightweight wardrobe items or as a curtain pole for small windows, adding flexibility to rooms with limited wall-fixing options. The painted surface reduces visible wear and can be wiped clean easily, which is handy in steamy environments.

## Usage Recommendations

Install following the pictorial guide and any accompanying video to ensure the spring mechanism seats correctly. Extend the rod slightly past the required length, compress the spring and position the anti-slip ends against both walls, then release to allow the rod to lock in place. Consider adding mild padding where the rod contacts textured or painted surfaces to prevent marks. Note that very uneven or crumbly walls may reduce holding power, and the rated 10 kg load is according to the manufacturer, so avoid hanging heavy shelving or dense items on the rail. 🧼🛁.
