## Description

Some finishing jobs call for a full room update, others need a neat, defined edge to bring a surface together. This flexible gold moulding trim is designed for decorative details and small finishing projects. Its peel-and-stick backing makes it straightforward to shape and apply to smooth surfaces.

## Fit and sizing
The trim is 5m long and 8mm wide, giving you a narrow edging strip for frames, corners and borders. Made from PVC, it can be cut to suit the layout, including corners where a clean join helps create a more finished look. Measure the run and mark the position before sticking, so you can place the strip accurately without repeatedly repositioning it.

Use it to outline a mirror or cabinet, add a decorative edge to a tiled area, or define a wall, ceiling or floor detail. It is intended for smooth, flat surfaces, a clean, dry surface helps prepare the area for application. For a corner finish, the ends can be cut at 45° to form a mitred join. The 8mm width suits detail work where a slim accent is preferred over a broad moulding.

## Why it makes sense
The self-adhesive backing keeps installation simple: peel it away and press the trim into place, without separate glue or paint. Its flexibility and ability to be cut to length make it useful for both straight runs and shaped DIY details. For example, you could use it to frame a mirror or add a gold border to a cabinet panel, bringing a consistent decorative line to otherwise plain surfaces.

This approach suits targeted updates where the aim is to define an edge or cover a small corner detail, rather than change the whole surface. Buyers praise the trim’s appearance and ease of use, while feedback on how well the adhesive holds is mixed. Take time to clean and dry the surface, mark the route in advance and avoid repeated sticking. In colder weather, gently warming the adhesive strip with a hairdryer during fitting is recommended. Once installed, leave it dry for 24 hours before completing the decoration work.

## Should you buy it?
Choose this trim for a slim, gold accent on smooth areas such as mirrors, cabinets, tiles and wall or ceiling details. The 5m length gives you material for a longer border or several smaller finishing jobs, while the flexible PVC strip can be cut to suit your layout. Its practical strength is the combination of a narrow decorative profile and adhesive application, making it a useful choice for focused home DIY where a tidy edge can make the detail feel complete.
