Yabano 14-Piece Kitchen Knife Set with Integrated Sharpener Block, Black

At 32 x 19 x 12 centimetres, the listed dimensions give a sense of the space this Yabano set may take up on a kitchen counter or in storage. It combines stainless steel blades with plastic handles and a wooden block that has an integrated sharpener, bringing several common kitchen knives and scissors together in one set.

The black finish and classic style keep the look understated. Its appeal is practical: a range of tools in one place, rather than choosing each knife separately.

Usage tips

The mix of chef’s, carving, bread, utility, steak and paring knives is intended to cover different prep jobs, from slicing bread to trimming or cutting smaller ingredients. The kitchen scissors add another everyday tool, while the block keeps the set grouped together between uses. For a typical meal, the chef’s knife can handle general chopping, with the bread knife reserved for loaves and the paring knife for smaller, more controlled tasks.

The integrated sharpener means there is a sharpening tool built into the block, rather than a separate sharpener included in the listed contents. It may suit a kitchen where keeping everyday knives together is more useful than assembling a collection piece by piece. The product details do not explain how to use the sharpener or give care instructions for each component, so follow any guidance supplied with the set. Although the listing says the item is dishwasher safe, it does not clarify whether this applies to every component, including the wooden block.

What you get

The stated contents are a chef’s knife, carving knife, bread knife, utility knife, steak knife, paring knife, kitchen scissors and a sturdy wooden block with an integrated sharpener. The product is described as a 14-piece set, but the number of individual steak knives is not specified in the available details. If you need to know the exact contents before choosing, that point is worth checking against the supplied product information.

This all-in-one format is a different approach from buying a single specialist knife: it provides a broader range for routine food preparation, with a block to store the set. The listed details do not give blade lengths, so it is harder to judge the precise size of each knife before buying.

Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you want several everyday knife types, scissors and a built-in sharpener in one coordinated set, and have room for a countertop block. It is suited to general home kitchen prep rather than a buyer selecting individual knives around specific blade measurements or a particular steel grade.

You may want to skip it if those missing details are essential to your decision, or if you only need one knife and would rather choose that piece on its own. For someone replacing a mixed collection of basic kitchen knives, the range of tools and integrated storage are the main reasons to consider this Yabano set.
