WENKO 2235504100 Stainless Steel Electric Hob Covers, Set of 4

If you want to protect an electric hob when it is not in use, this WENKO set provides four round stainless steel cover plates in two standard sizes. Their matt silver finish also gives them a practical role elsewhere in the kitchen. Could one set serve more than one everyday purpose? These plates can also be used as table mats or spoon trays.

Strengths

The covers are made from stainless steel and have non-slip feet, helping them sit securely in place during use. The product is described as rust-proof, while the matt silver finish makes the plates a discreet addition to the kitchen. Used over an electric hob, they help protect its surface, away from the hob, they can protect a table or hold a cooking spoon while you prepare a meal.

Choosing covers rather than leaving the cooking surface exposed gives you a straightforward way to keep it covered between uses. The two sizes in the set offer a practical fit for hobs with different-sized cooking areas, without needing to buy each cover separately. For everyday cooking, a plate can also be set aside as a spoon rest or used as a table mat when needed.

Highlights

The set contains two round plates measuring ø 16 x 2 cm and two measuring ø 20 x 2 cm. This gives you covers in two standard sizes, with the same set also useful for serving as table mats or spoon trays. The stainless steel construction and silver colour suit a simple, functional kitchen style, while the non-slip feet add stability when the plates are used on a surface.

The range of uses makes this a handy choice for kitchens where accessories need to earn their place. Keep the plates over the hob between cooking sessions, or move one to the worktop to rest a cooking spoon. They can also be used as table mats, making them useful beyond their main role as cooker covers.
