## Description

Each square tile measures 20 x 20 cm, giving little hands and feet a defined space to explore. The Vicloon Baby Sensory Play Mat set brings together 16 colourful sensory tiles with different textures for indoor play.

Children can touch the surfaces with their hands or step on them, exploring varied tactile and visual sensations as part of play. The tiles are designed for sensory development, including tactile and visual discrimination, and the set needs no batteries or assembly.

## Key features

With 16 different colours and textures, the set offers more variety than a single-texture sensory mat. Textures include corduroy, mesh, carpet-like and studded surfaces, alongside several other fabric finishes. This gives children different surfaces to notice and compare, while the colours add a visual element to the activity. What might a child notice when moving from one texture to another? The changing feel and appearance can make simple exploration an engaging part of play.

A non-slip backing helps keep each tile in place during use. Children can explore by touch or step across the mats, bringing tactile play together with movement and coordination. The tiles are intended for indoor use and can be laid out for a supervised play activity or hung where children can reach and interact with them.

## Best use cases

Use the tiles for a short sensory activity at home: arrange a selection on the floor and let a child explore the different surfaces with hands or feet. They can also be offered one at a time for focused tactile discovery, or placed together to create a varied route across the floor. For children who benefit from sensory play, the range of textures and colours provides different features to explore without needing an electronic toy or a structured game.

Compared with choosing separate tactile toys, this set brings multiple textures and colours together in one collection. That makes it a practical choice when the aim is to offer variety in a simple indoor activity, particularly for toddlers and young children.

## Practical tips

Place the tiles on a clear indoor surface and arrange them to suit the activity, whether that means inviting children to touch each one or stepping across them. Stay alongside younger children during play and keep the mats within a space suited to the activity. The tiles are washable by hand or machine, making it easier to freshen them after regular use. No batteries or assembly are required, so they can be set out as needed and packed away when play is finished.

## Practical questions

What is included in the set? It contains 16 square sensory tiles, each measuring 20 x 20 cm, with different colours and textures.

Can children explore the mats with their feet as well as their hands? Yes. The tiles are described for both touching and stepping on, so they can be used for tactile exploration in either way.

How should the tiles be cleaned? They are washable by hand or in a washing machine, giving you two straightforward cleaning options.

## Final verdict

For families looking to add varied tactile and visual play to an indoor routine, the Vicloon set combines 16 different surfaces in square, 20 x 20 cm tiles with non-slip backing. It suits hands-on exploration and simple stepping activities, with an easy-to-clean format that can be brought out whenever sensory play is part of the day.
