VASAGLE BLH211G01 Laundry Basket, 92L with Two Compartments and Shelves

At 73 x 33 x 92 cm, the VASAGLE BLH211G01 is a tall laundry organiser with a rectangular footprint and a black-and-grey finish. Its two removable Oxford fabric bags provide 92L of combined capacity.

The two sections are intended to keep lights and darks separate, while a pair of shelves adds space for items such as towels or detergent. It is designed for a bathroom, bedroom or laundry room.

The bags pull out for carrying, but they are not machine washable. The unit also needs to be secured to the wall with the included tilt protection for safe use.

Usage tips

For a busy household, the two bags can make it easier to sort washing as it is put away rather than separating it on laundry day. When a bag is ready, remove it from the frame and carry it to the washing machine. The pull-out design also means clothes can be added or taken out without lifting the whole basket.

The shelves offer a place to keep towels and laundry essentials close to hand. Adjustable feet are included to help balance the unit. Bear in mind that the fabric bags are not machine washable, so this is a better fit for people happy to clean them without putting them in a washing machine.

Why it’s worth it

Compared with a basic single-bin hamper, the two compartments give you a ready-made way to separate different loads, while the shelves make use of the space above the laundry. That combination may suit a household that wants sorting and storage in one piece of furniture, rather than separate baskets and a shelf. The 73 cm width and 33 cm depth are useful dimensions to consider when deciding where it will sit.

Buyers’ comments are positive about the appearance, assembly and sturdiness, with some appreciating how the bags hold their shape. These are customer impressions rather than a guarantee of how the frame will suit every room or household. A solid pick if you want laundry sorting plus nearby storage in a single unit, a simpler hamper may make more sense if you only need somewhere to put clothes.

Should you buy it?

Choose this model if you want two removable bags and shelf space together, and have room for its stated dimensions. Its two compartments offer more sorting convenience than a single laundry basket, while the shelves provide a practical spot for washing essentials. The included tilt protection is important: the manufacturer says to attach the unit to the wall, and advises against sitting on the shelves or letting children climb or play on them. Take care when pulling the bags out or pushing them back in to avoid trapping fingers.

Better avoided if you need bags that can go in the washing machine, as these are not machine washable. If its footprint and wall-fixing requirement suit your space, the combination of separate laundry storage and shelves is the main reason to choose it over a more basic hamper.
