## Description

Five built-in speakers, including side-firing drivers, give the ULTIMEA Poseidon M60 Boom a wider 5.1-channel Dolby Atmos sound field without rear speakers. Paired with its wired subwoofer, it brings more depth to films and games, while VoiceMX helps keep dialogue clear during busy scenes or when listening at lower volumes.

Use HDMI eARC for Dolby Atmos audio, or stream music over Bluetooth 5.4. The Ultimea app adds detailed sound adjustment, so you can tailor the listening experience to what’s on.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Connect the soundbar to a compatible TV through HDMI eARC to make the most of Dolby Atmos. The included HDMI cable supports a straightforward connection, and built-in CEC functionality lets the soundbar work with the television for simpler control. The system is also suited to projectors, game consoles, laptops and PCs, making it useful for more than just TV viewing.

For a film night, the subwoofer adds weight to action and music while VoiceMX brings speech frequencies forward. When switching to music or games, use the Ultimea app to adjust the 10-band equaliser, choose from 121 sound profiles or set one of 13 surround levels. Bluetooth 5.4 offers another way to stream audio from a compatible device.

## Strengths
The Poseidon M60 Boom combines a 5.1-channel layout with Dolby Atmos processing, using two side-firing drivers to broaden the surround sound field without rear speakers. That makes it a practical choice for a living room where a fuller cinema-style setup is wanted without placing speakers behind the seating area. Compared with a simpler TV soundbar focused on front-facing stereo, this system adds a dedicated subwoofer and surround processing for films, games and music.

BassMX works with the subwoofer’s 18 mm high-excursion driver and 7.6L tuned wooden enclosure to deliver deeper bass. VoiceMX uses DSP processing to enhance voice frequencies, helping dialogue remain easier to follow when sound effects are prominent. Together, these features address two everyday needs: impact for dramatic scenes and intelligible speech for shows and news.

The app offers meaningful control beyond basic volume adjustment, with equaliser customisation, sound profiles and surround-level settings. Buyers also highlight the sound quality and strong volume, with positive comments about the value it offers.

## Buying verdict
A solid pick if you want a TV sound system that combines Dolby Atmos, a wired subwoofer and dialogue enhancement in one setup. Its side-firing drivers create a wider sound field without rear speakers, while HDMI eARC, Bluetooth 5.4 and app-based tuning suit a mix of television, film, gaming and music use. For a more immersive home entertainment setup with clear speech and adjustable sound, the Poseidon M60 Boom brings those benefits together in a single soundbar system.
