UISEBRT Children's Toilet Trainer Seat with Cushion, Handles and Backrest, Blue and Grey

Everyday use

For a child moving from a potty to the family toilet, this UISEBRT trainer seat sits on a standard toilet and adds a smaller, cushioned seating area. Its backrest and handrails give children places to lean and hold while they get used to sitting higher up.

Unlike a basic seat insert, this model includes side handles, a raised splash guard and a backrest. That makes it worth considering when a child would benefit from extra points of contact, a separate potty may suit a household that wants a child-sized option which does not use the main toilet.

The seat is described as suitable for boys and girls and for children aged 1–8. It is intended for most standard O-, V- and U-shaped toilets, but not square ones. Check the shape of the toilet before choosing it.

Benefits

The seat combines a polypropylene body with a soft PU cushion. The cushion is described as waterproof and easy to clean, and can be removed for cleaning. Four anti-slip strips underneath and fixing clips are intended to help keep it in place, while the side handrails give little hands something to grip. These features are useful for a child who is still building confidence, although they do not replace adult supervision.

A raised front section is designed to help limit splashes, and the high backrest provides support while the child is seated. The trainer is manually operated, with installation described as quick and straightforward. When not in use, it can be hung up for storage, which may help keep it out of the way in a shared bathroom.

You’ll like it if you want a cushioned toilet trainer with handles and a backrest rather than a plain seat insert. It might not be a great match if your toilet is square, as the stated compatible shapes exclude that design.

Practical questions

Does it fit every toilet? No. It is described for most standard O-, V- and U-shaped toilets, but not square toilets. The product information does not specify a fit for every toilet model, so the shape is the key detail to check.

Can the cushion be cleaned separately? The product information says the PU cushion is removable for cleaning. It also describes the cushion as waterproof and easy to clean.

What helps a child stay settled while sitting? The design includes side handrails, a high backrest and anti-slip strips underneath, alongside fixing clips. These are intended to provide support and help secure the seat as a child practises using the toilet.

Final verdict

This is a practical step between a standalone potty and a plain toilet insert: it uses the existing toilet while adding a cushion, handrails and a backrest. It is most relevant if those support features suit your child's transition and your toilet is one of the stated shapes. If you need a trainer for a square toilet, this is not the right fit based on the available compatibility information.
