## Description

For running, cycling or gym sessions, these open-ear earbuds offer a hook-on fit designed to stay in place while keeping the ear uncovered. The flexible memory-titanium wire and soft liquid silicone combine a secure feel with a lightweight design, while IPX5 water resistance suits sweat and light rain.

If you want to stay aware of your surroundings while listening, the open-ear format offers a different approach from sealed in-ear earbuds. Spatial audio, app-based EQ and four microphones for clearer calls add useful options for training and everyday listening.

## Best use cases
The hook-on design is made for movement, so the FitBuds 2 are suited to running, cycling and workouts where earbuds need to sit securely. Their IPX5 rating means they can handle sweat and light rain, making them practical for outdoor exercise as well as sessions in the gym.

They also suit podcasts, audiobooks and calls during the day. Compared with a sealed in-ear style aimed at isolating the listener, this open-ear design keeps the ear uncovered, choose it when that listening style better fits your routine. Bluetooth 6.0 supports wireless use with phones and laptops, and the earbuds can pair with two devices for switching between them.

## What you’ll notice day to day
Spatial audio adds an immersive listening option, while the companion app lets you choose from eight preset EQ modes or create a sound profile of your own. You can also customise the touch controls and switch spatial audio or game mode on or off in the app. That makes it easier to tailor the earbuds to music, spoken audio or video without relying on one fixed sound setting.

For calls, two microphones pick up your voice and two additional microphones work with an AI noise-cancelling algorithm to reduce ambient noise. The aim is clearer voice pickup in places such as a busy commute or a breezy outdoor setting, this call feature is distinct from noise cancellation for listening.

Buyers often praise the comfort and sound, while feedback on fit, microphone performance, battery and connectivity is mixed. The hook-on shape and app controls are useful practical features, but individual experiences vary.

## What to know
Playback is rated at up to eight hours on a charge, with up to 28 hours in total when using the charging case. The case charges through USB-C. Bluetooth has a stated range of up to 10 metres, and the app provides access to EQ, touch-control customisation and battery status. For workouts, the combination of an open-ear hook design and IPX5 water resistance is the key practical consideration, for calls, the four-microphone setup is the relevant feature.

## Before you decide
**Can I use the FitBuds 2 for running or cycling?** Yes. Their hook-on design is intended to stay in place during movement, and the IPX5 rating is suitable for sweat and light rain.

**Can I change the sound settings?** Yes. The app offers eight preset EQ modes, the option to create a custom EQ and controls for spatial audio and game mode.

**Can I connect them to both a phone and a laptop?** Dual-device pairing is supported, so you can pair two devices and switch between them.

## Buying verdict
Choose the UGREEN FitBuds 2 if you want wireless earbuds for exercise and everyday calls in an open-ear, hook-on design. Bluetooth 6.0, app-adjustable sound, four-microphone call noise reduction and up to 28 hours of combined playback make them well suited to a routine that moves between workouts, spoken audio and connected devices.
