## Description

At 2 metres, this UGREEN USB-A to USB-C cable gives you room to charge from a nearby socket or USB port while keeping your mobile phone within reach. Its black, nylon-braided outer helps keep the cable manageable between uses.

The 90-degree connector sits close to the device rather than sticking straight out. That can make it more comfortable to hold a phone while charging, whether you are reading, watching videos or playing games.

With support for charging up to 3A and 18W, plus data transfer up to 480Mbps, it covers everyday charging and file-syncing tasks through a USB-A connection.

## Usage tips

Connect the USB-A end to a compatible USB-A power source or computer, and the USB-C end to a compatible device. The right-angle plug is useful when a straight connector would get in the way: for example, you can rest a phone on the sofa or hold it in landscape orientation with the cable routed neatly alongside it. The 2-metre length also gives more flexibility around a desk or bedside table than a short lead.

For charging, the cable supports a maximum output of 18W and 3A, with QC 3.0, FCP and AFC listed among its supported charging protocols. Actual charging depends on the connected device and power source. For file transfers, it supports speeds of up to 480Mbps, making it suitable for routine syncing between a compatible device and computer. It is a USB-A to USB-C cable, so check that the source has a matching USB-A port.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The angled connector is the main practical difference from a standard straight-ended cable. It keeps the cable closer to the edge of the phone, which can reduce the chance of it pressing into your hand during use. The braided exterior and round shape make it easier to route around a desk or seating area, while the extra reach can be handy when the charging point is not right beside you.

Buyers often highlight the angled design and useful length, including for tighter spaces. Feedback on charging speed and durability is mixed, and some buyers report the braided covering separating near an end. There are also reports of compatibility problems with CarPlay, so this cable is best considered for its stated USB-C charging and data-transfer uses rather than assumed CarPlay support.

If you are choosing between a conventional straight cable and an angled one, the straight style suits setups where the plug has plenty of clearance. This right-angle design is more suited to holding or positioning a connected phone close to a surface.

## Should you buy it?

It makes sense if you want a longer USB-A to USB-C cable that is comfortable to use while holding a phone, or that can sit neatly in a tighter space.
