## Description

## Quick sizing guide

At 4 m long, this DisplayPort cable gives you room to connect a computer to a monitor or projector when the devices are not right beside each other. The nylon-braided finish and round cable shape suit a gaming setup, home entertainment system or everyday desk arrangement, while the male-to-male DP connectors link a DisplayPort source directly to a DisplayPort display.

Its DisplayPort 2.1 support makes it a practical choice for a modern display connection, with backward compatibility for earlier DisplayPort versions including 2.0, 1.4 and 1.2.

## Why it’s worth it

This cable is designed for high-resolution video and high refresh-rate display use. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 12-bit colour depth and HDR, helping you make use of compatible source and display equipment. UHBR, HBR3 and DSC are also listed among its supported technologies. For multi-display arrangements, it supports Single-Stream Transport (SST) and optional Multi-Stream Transport (MST).

HDCP 2.3 support is relevant when connecting equipment that uses protected digital content. FreeSync and G-Sync are named among the supported gaming features, making the cable a useful part of a compatible PC-and-monitor setup. As with any DisplayPort connection, the capabilities you can use depend on the connected devices and their settings.

For a practical example, you can run the 4 m cable from a desktop PC to a monitor positioned across a desk or in a gaming area, rather than relying on a shorter connection. Buyers commonly praise its straightforward connection, sturdy feel and functionality, some also report screen flickering or blackouts, so feedback is not entirely uniform.

## Before you decide

**What can I connect with this cable?** Connect a DisplayPort-equipped computer or other video source to a monitor or projector with a DisplayPort input. It is also suited to compatible gaming and home entertainment setups.

**Will it work with an earlier DisplayPort version?** The cable is stated to be compatible with DisplayPort 2.0, 1.4 and 1.2, as well as DisplayPort 2.1. The available features depend on the connected equipment.

**What does the 4 m length offer?** It provides extra reach between the source and display, which can help when positioning a monitor or projector away from the computer.

## Final verdict

It makes sense if you need a longer, braided DisplayPort connection for a PC monitor, projector or gaming display. With 4 m of reach, support for earlier DisplayPort versions and features including HDR and HDCP 2.3, the Ubluker dp 4M is suited to setups where placement flexibility and modern display support matter.
