## Description

## Key points

For starting seedlings at home or preparing plants in a greenhouse, the Transplant manual soil blocker forms four compact soil blocks in one press. Each block measures 2 inches square, giving you a ready-made space for sowing without relying on small plastic cell trays.

Made from stainless steel, the hand-operated tool presses moistened potting mix into shape, then releases the blocks with its ejection handle. Its cushioned, non-slip handle is shaped for a comfortable grip during planting sessions. The set also includes different pebbles for making seed holes, so you can prepare blocks for sowing as well as transplanting.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Mix and moisten your chosen potting soil before pressing it into the blocker. Firm, evenly packed mix helps the blocks hold their shape when released. Place the finished cubes in a seed tray, then sow into the holes made with the included pebbles. The four-block format is handy when you want to prepare several seedlings together, rather than filling individual cells one at a time.

After receiving the product, assemble it before use by following the installation steps shown in the product video. As it is a metal tool, wearing gloves while handling it is recommended to help protect your hands from scratches.

## Practical tips

Soil blocking offers a different approach to seed starting from conventional plastic cell trays: the growing medium itself forms each planting block. The blocks are designed to help limit disturbance to delicate roots during transplanting, while roots reaching the edges can be air-pruned. This makes the tool useful for raising small plants that will later be moved into the garden, greenhouse or larger pots.

How many seedlings can you prepare in one press? The quad design forms four 2-inch square blocks in a single operation, making it a practical choice when sowing several seeds or varieties in one session. Use the seed-hole pebbles to create openings before planting, and keep the mix evenly moist so the blocks can be pressed and released cleanly.

## Practical questions

**What size are the finished soil blocks?** Each block is 2 inches by 2 inches, with the tool forming four blocks at a time.

**How do you use the blocker?** Mix and moisten potting soil, press it into the mould, then use the ejection handle to release the blocks. The included pebbles make holes for seeds.

**Does it need assembly?** Yes. Assemble the tool after receiving it, following the product’s installation video steps.

## Final verdict

This manual soil block maker suits gardeners who want to raise seedlings in compact, individually formed blocks and prepare four at once. Its stainless-steel construction, release handle and seed-hole pebbles support a straightforward routine from preparing the mix to sowing and transplanting.
