## Description

For rooms where reducing echo and improving the look of a wall both matter, these TONOR panels bring acoustic treatment into the room’s design. The two-panel set covers 1.44 m². Its dark walnut slatted finish adds a warm, structured look, while the sound-absorbing construction is designed to help reduce reverberation.

## Usage tips

Use the panels on a wall or ceiling in a bedroom, living room, office or studio where a hard, bare surface contributes to echo. Each rectangular panel measures 120 x 60 cm, so the pair can form a defined feature area or be arranged to suit the room. They can be mounted with screws through the felt backing, or attached to a wall using self-adhesive. Basic fitting hardware is provided. Take care to align the panels before fixing them, particularly if you are using a method that could mark the surface when removed.

For a tailored fit, mark the cutting line, place tape over it and cut along the line. This gives you flexibility around the shape of the wall or the area you want to cover. The panels are intended for indoor acoustic and decorative use, avoid damp or high-temperature locations such as bathrooms or behind boilers.

## What stands out

The construction combines high-density polyester fibre, MDF and a real wood veneer, bringing sound absorption together with a visible wood finish. That makes the set a considered choice when you want an acoustic treatment that also contributes to the room’s appearance, rather than a purely functional panel with no decorative role. The dark walnut colour and slatted design can sit naturally alongside a range of home or office interiors.

The manufacturer states an NRC rating greater than 0.7 and says the panels help reduce reverberation and echo. They are intended to improve room acoustics, rather than to create a soundproof barrier between rooms. Buyers have praised the straightforward installation and more modern look, while impressions of the acoustic effect vary. Feedback on colour expectations is also mixed, the stated finish is Dark Walnut, and the appearance of wood tones can vary with lighting and screen settings.

## What to know

This set contains two panels with a combined coverage of 1.44 m². Compare that coverage with the wall or ceiling area you have in mind when planning a feature section. The panels are also available in larger set sizes, so the same slatted finish can be carried across a broader area. The 120 x 60 cm format gives a clear starting point for arranging the panels, while the option to cut them allows adjustments to suit the space.

If choosing between decorative acoustic panels and a simpler, purely functional treatment, this set brings both a wood-look finish and sound-absorbing construction into the decision. Buyers’ views on value differ, so the main consideration is whether the combination of acoustic treatment and a visible design feature suits your room. For a consistent finish across multiple packs, ordering the required quantity together is sensible, as slight colour variation can occur between production batches.

## Buying verdict

TONOR’s two dark walnut panels are suited to anyone looking to give a room a more finished wall feature while addressing reverberation. Their 1.44 m² coverage, flexible wall or ceiling mounting and cut-to-fit design make them practical for a defined acoustic area in a bedroom, living room, office or studio. Choose them when the slatted wood appearance matters alongside the acoustic treatment.
