## Description

For a PC build that needs a dependable 800W power supply, the Tacens RADIX VII AG 800S combines ATX format with DC-DC technology and a single +12V rail. Its 80 Plus Silver certification and 87% electrical efficiency make it a considered choice for a system with more demanding power needs. The 140mm FDB fan uses AI-RPM control to adjust cooling. Flat, extra-long black cables help make routing neater during installation.

## Everyday use
As an ATX power supply for a personal computer, the RADIX VII AG 800S is designed to provide steady power to system components. DC-DC conversion supports consistent delivery and system stability, including when the load changes. That makes it relevant when assembling or refreshing a PC where stable power is a priority, rather than choosing a basic unit solely by form factor.

The cable design also has a practical role: flat, extra-long cables are easier to route through a case, helping keep the build organised as components are connected. The unit measures 15 x 16 x 8.5 centimetres and weighs 1.65 kilograms, useful details to consider when planning the power supply position in an ATX build.

## Where it shines
The combination of 800W output, a single +12V rail and DC-DC technology is aimed at builds that call for substantial, consistent power. For a straightforward replacement, the ATX format is the key fit, for a new or higher-demand PC, the efficiency rating, conversion design and included thermal control add further reasons to consider this model.

Cooling is handled by one 140mm fan with a fluid dynamic bearing and AI-RPM control. Smart thermal control adjusts fan operation in response to temperature, while the large fan is designed for cooling the power supply. Inside, Toshin Kyogo Japanese capacitors rated to 105º and SMD manufacturing technology are part of the design, alongside a stated 10-year warranty.
