Surfela SF-DE6 Melamine Cleaning Sponges, 6 Pack, White, 2.5X Density

Use them to tackle scuffs on doors, marks on trainers or everyday grime around the kitchen and bathroom. These white melamine sponges are supplied in a six-pack and have a compact 9.6 × 6.6 × 2 cm format. Need to work around a corner or narrow edge? Each sponge can be cut to size for more precise cleaning.

How it fits

For household jobs that call for targeted scrubbing, the Surfela SF-DE6 gives you a simple, water-based way to work on marks across a range of hard surfaces. The melamine material cleans through physical micro-abrasion, so the sponges can be used without cleaning chemicals. Wet a sponge first and gently squeeze out excess water, then use it on areas such as tiles, sinks, glass, kitchen cabinets or shoes.

The smaller format is useful when cleaning around edges and corners, while cutting a sponge can help with especially tight spots. This makes the pack practical for keeping a few sponges ready for different jobs around the home. For surfaces that are painted, varnished, polished, glossy or delicate, test a small, inconspicuous area first, the product is not recommended for those finishes. Do not use on skin.

Pros

The manufacturer describes these sponges as having 2.5X higher density than standard cleaning sponges, with a tear-resistant design intended to last longer. That higher-density approach is a useful distinction if you are comparing them with basic melamine sponges for repeated household cleaning. They are also reusable and quick-drying, and the pack gives you six sponges to allocate across different tasks.

Buyers mention success with stubborn marks, door scuffs, cabinets and white sinks, with some also using them to prepare surfaces for painting. Feedback on durability is mixed: some say the sponges last longer than cheaper alternatives, while others report that they break down quickly. Opinions on value are mixed too, so the most relevant choice is whether a multi-use melamine sponge suits the cleaning jobs you have in mind.

When it makes sense

Choose this six-pack if you want melamine sponges for a mix of everyday scrubbing jobs rather than a product for just one room or surface.
