## Description

Made from plastic and supplied in a handy tub, the Stickle Bricks Fun Tub gives young children a simple way to explore building through play. Its multicoloured, shaped pieces connect and come apart, so children can stick, stack and rearrange their creations as new ideas take shape.

The set is designed for open-ended construction rather than one finished model. That makes it easy to move from a first simple build to a different design, while practising dexterity, hand-eye coordination and imaginative play along the way. The manufacturer’s recommended age is 3 years and up.

## Getting the most from it

Offer the pieces for free building and let children decide what to make. Connecting and disconnecting the bricks gives little hands a hands-on activity, while stacking and changing the arrangement encourages them to try different designs. It works well as a simple indoor play activity when there is time to build, take creations apart and start again.

The tub also serves as a storage container, helping keep the pieces together between play sessions and making tidy-up part of the routine. Unlike a construction toy centred on completing one particular model, this set leaves the design open to the child. It can also be combined with other Stickle Bricks sets for more building possibilities.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The interlocking format makes the play straightforward: connect pieces to build, then separate them to change the design. This repeated action gives children a practical way to work on fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination while using their imagination. With different shapes and colours to bring together, each play session can take a new direction without following a fixed set of steps.

The storage tub is useful once play is finished, keeping the bricks in one place rather than leaving them loose around the room. Buyers describe the pieces as enjoyable to play with and easy to assemble, and some appreciate the tub as an addition to a toy collection or a gift. Feedback on how firmly pieces connect and how well they hold up is mixed, so the most useful way to approach the set is as flexible, hands-on building play.

## Before you decide

**What can children make with the pieces?** The set is for open-ended building: children can stick, stack and connect the differently shaped pieces to create their own designs, then take them apart and begin again.

**Can it be used with other sets?** Yes. Stickle Bricks Fun Tub can be combined with other Stickle Bricks sets to extend the possibilities for construction and play.

**What age is it recommended for?** The manufacturer’s recommended age is 3 years and up. This is the age guidance to follow when choosing the toy.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the Fun Tub for an indoor construction activity that gives children room to invent their own builds, practise joining and separating pieces, and return the bricks to a storage tub afterwards. It suits families looking for open-ended play rather than a toy focused on assembling one set design, with the option to add other Stickle Bricks sets as play develops.
