## Description

Soft woven fur gives the Steiff Petsy Teddy Bear a cosy feel for cuddling, while its five-way joints add character when it is sitting on a shelf or bedside table. This caramel-coloured bear measures 28 cm and weighs 195 g. Handmade by Steiff, it also carries the distinctive Button in Ear.

## Strengths

Petsy brings together a cuddly feel and a more characterful, poseable design. Its five-way jointing sets it apart from a simple fixed-position plush toy, giving the bear a place both in everyday cuddles and as a display companion. The 28 cm size makes it easy to keep close on a bed, chair or tabletop, while the caramel shade gives it a warm, classic teddy-bear look.

The Steiff Button in Ear is a recognisable design detail, and the handmade finish adds to the bear’s individual character. For someone choosing between a basic soft toy and a teddy with more presence as a keepsake, Petsy offers both a cuddly companion and a distinctive display piece.

## Key features

Petsy is a teddy bear made from soft woven fur, with five-way joints and a caramel colour. Its dimensions are 28 x 19 x 12 cm, and it weighs 195 g. The listed material is acrylic cotton, with a cotton-plush outer. It is designed for cuddling and indoor use, and requires no assembly or batteries.

The jointed design makes it suitable for more than one setting: it can be held close for comfort, then placed on a tabletop as part of a bedroom display. Its familiar bear shape and tactile fur also make it a thoughtful choice as a gift for a teddy-bear fan. The manufacturer’s recommended age is three years and up.

## Care & maintenance

Petsy is machine washable at 30°C, making routine care straightforward. Follow the 30°C wash guidance when cleaning the bear, then allow it to dry before returning it to a bed or display spot.

## Questions before you buy

**How big is the Petsy Teddy Bear?** It is 28 cm tall, with listed dimensions of 28 x 19 x 12 cm. Its 195 g weight makes it a manageable size to hold or move between a bed and a shelf.

**Can the bear be posed?** Petsy has five-way joints, so its design offers more scope for positioning than a teddy with a fixed shape.

**Is it suitable for a young child?** The manufacturer recommends it for ages three years and up.

## When it makes sense

Choose the Steiff Petsy if you want a soft teddy for cuddling that can also stand out as a characterful keepsake. Its five-way joints, handmade construction, caramel woven fur and Button in Ear bring together practical appeal and recognisable Steiff detailing. It suits a bedroom companion or a thoughtful gift for someone who enjoys classic teddy bears.
