## Description

Some listeners want earbuds that seal off the ear canal, others prefer an open design that lets everyday sounds remain audible. The SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro takes the open-ear approach, clipping around the ear rather than sitting inside it. Its 12mm dual magnet driver and app-based sound settings add ways to tailor listening for music and films.

## Technical overview
The PearlClip Pro uses a 12mm dual magnet dynamic driver for music, podcasts and other audio. In the PeatsAudio app, Dynamic EQ adjusts low-frequency compensation to bring more energy to bass, and Movie Mode applies a spatial audio effect designed to give film sound a more three-dimensional character. These settings make it easy to switch the listening style to suit what is playing.

The C-shaped clip combines a memory nickel-titanium wire bridge with a silicone coating, while the open-ear fit leaves the ear canal unobstructed. That means you can listen while remaining more aware of nearby sounds, such as announcements or traffic. IPX5 water resistance is suited to splashes and sweat during sports activities. Bluetooth 5.4 provides wireless connection, and touch controls let you manage playback from the earbuds.

For battery planning, playback is rated at up to 6 hours from the earbuds, or up to 24 hours with the charging case. A 10-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of music playback. Actual playtime can vary with volume, content and surroundings.

## Everyday compatibility
Connect the PearlClip Pro over Bluetooth to a mobile phone, tablet or laptop for music, calls and video. It is also listed as compatible with desktops, smart speakers, smartwatches, consoles, car audio systems and motorcycles, making it a flexible choice for moving between different Bluetooth devices. There is no headphone jack: listening is wireless.

The open fit suits situations where keeping some awareness of your surroundings matters, such as a walk, a workout or listening at home while other activity continues nearby. Unlike earbuds designed to seal inside the ear, this clip-on style leaves the canal open, choose it for that more open listening experience rather than for blocking out ambient sound.

## Tips for day-to-day use
For the automatic left-and-right channel adjustment, leave both earbuds in the charging case for 10 seconds. They can then be placed in either position in the case without needing to match a designated side. Use the PeatsAudio app to switch Dynamic EQ on or off, or activate Movie Mode when watching a film. After sport or exposure to splashes, the IPX5 rating supports use in those conditions, it is not a reason to submerge the earbuds.

Customer feedback often highlights clear sound, comfort and a fit that can stay in place during workouts. Opinions on reliability are mixed, and some buyers would like longer battery life. For a clip-on open-ear design, the most useful point of comparison is whether you prioritise awareness of nearby sounds or a more isolating fit.

## When it makes sense
A solid pick if you want wireless clip-on earbuds for everyday listening, sport or watching films, and value an open fit with adjustable sound modes. The dual magnet driver, touch controls, IPX5 water resistance and case-supported playback give the PearlClip Pro a practical mix of listening features for use at home and on the move.
