SONGMICS RZB003W02 Foldable Storage Boxes, Set of 6, 30L, Dove Grey

Some storage needs a box that can be tucked away when empty, others call for a container that can take heavier loads. The SONGMICS set is designed for organising clothes and smaller household items while making access straightforward. Each box folds flat when it is not in use. Its stated maximum static load is 3 kg per box.

Key points

The set contains six rectangular boxes, each measuring 40 x 30 x 25 cm and offering a stated capacity of 30 litres. Non-woven fabric covers a thick paperboard structure, which is intended to help each box hold its shape and allow the boxes to be stacked. The three-sided zip opening gives a wider access point than a simple top flap, so clothes can be reached without lifting everything out first.

Each box has three handles on the front and sides for pulling it from a shelf or carrying it. The dove grey, linen-textured finish is a restrained choice for wardrobes and open shelving. When the boxes are empty, they fold flat for storage. Buyers speak positively about the perceived quality and value, although those impressions do not change the stated load limit or the need to match the dimensions to your available space.

Quick sizing guide

At 40 x 30 x 25 cm, a box is suited to garments and other items that fit within those dimensions, the 30-litre capacity gives a useful guide to the space available. The set can help divide a wardrobe or shelf into separate groups rather than leaving everything in one large container. Before choosing a place for them, allow for the box dimensions and for room to open the zip lid. The listing gives a maximum static load of 3 kg per box, so these are for lighter stored belongings rather than heavy items.

Best use cases

These boxes make sense for seasonal clothing, wardrobe sorting, toys or souvenirs that need a defined place. For example, one box could hold out-of-season clothes while the rest separate other household items, with the zipped top helping to keep dust off stored garments. The handles are useful if boxes need to be pulled down from a shelf, and the fold-flat design is handy when storage needs change.

Compared with rigid containers, this set has the practical advantage of folding away when empty, while its fabric-and-paperboard construction and 3 kg load limit make it a better fit for lighter contents than bulky or heavy storage. It suits you if you want several matching, lidded organisers for clothes and small items. It’s not for you if you need boxes for heavy belongings or want to wash storage containers with water, the care instructions specify wiping with a damp cloth instead.

Buying verdict

The useful combination here is a set of six, a wide zipped opening and boxes that can be collapsed between uses. That makes the set worth considering for light wardrobe organisation where you want to separate items and still reach them easily. The key trade-off is the modest load limit: keep each box within 3 kg, and choose another storage approach for heavier contents. Within these limits, the fold-flat format and handles make the boxes adaptable for changing household storage needs.
