## Description

If you need more than a single place to hang clothes, this SONGMICS rail combines two hanging rails with a lower storage shelf in one freestanding design. Its white finish and straightforward shape suit a bedroom, dressing room or hallway, while the two rail heights help separate shorter garments from longer pieces.

Use the shelf for shoes or accessories and the side bars for items such as scarves and bags. The result is a handy spot to plan an outfit or keep coats and everyday clothes organised.

## How to use it

Set the rail up in the room where you want clothes within easy reach, then arrange garments across the two bars according to their length or type. Shirts and blouses can go on one rail, with dresses or trousers on the other, shoes and accessories can be kept on the lower shelf. The bars at the sides provide extra hanging space for scarves and bags, helping keep outfit essentials together.

Assembly is tool-free, with numbered parts and instructions provided. As a freestanding rack, it can also be moved between rooms when your storage needs change. For example, it can hold coats in the hallway during the week, then be repositioned in a spare room when guests need a place to hang clothes. Keep within the stated load limits, and do not let children climb on the rack.

## Pros

The practical advantage here is the combination of hanging and shelf storage. Instead of using a rail for garments and finding separate floor space for shoes, this design brings both functions together, with two heights to accommodate different clothing lengths. That makes it useful for everyday outfit planning, keeping a spare room ready for visitors or giving a hallway coats and bags a dedicated home.

The buyer feedback reflects the same everyday appeal: customers highlight its functionality, storage capacity and appearance, and some say it holds plenty of clothes. Views on sturdiness are mixed, so it is sensible to distribute garments across the rails and shelf in line with their individual load limits. A solid pick if you want a portable, freestanding clothes rail with storage built into the same frame.

## Before you decide

**How much weight can it hold?** The maximum static load is 55 kg in total. Each hanging rail is rated for up to 15 kg, and the shelf for up to 20 kg, these component limits apply alongside the overall maximum.

**Does assembly require tools?** No. Assembly is required, but the rack is designed to be put together without tools, and numbered parts and instructions are included.

**What can be stored on the lower shelf?** It can be used for shoes and accessories, giving them a place beneath the hanging clothes. The side bars also offer space for scarves and bags.

## When it makes sense

Choose the RDR01WT when you want a simple way to organise clothes without relying on one hanging bar alone. Its two rails, shelf and side bars make use of different parts of the frame, while the freestanding, portable design suits changing needs around the home. It is particularly useful for bedrooms, dressing rooms, hallways and spare rooms where hanging space and a place for shoes or accessories are both welcome.
