SONGMICS Eliott Collection LCB51WG 90L Synthetic Rattan Laundry Hamper

A laundry hamper needs to hold a full load without taking over the room. The SONGMICS Eliott Collection LCB51WG pairs a 90L capacity with a slim rectangular shape, so it can suit a corner or narrow space. Its lid and removable liner also make it more contained than a basic open basket.

Worth noting

The woven synthetic rattan body is described as waterproof and ventilated, while a metal frame supports loads of up to 25 kg. That combination is intended for everyday laundry storage, with the lid helping to keep dust away and contain unpleasant smells. It opens with one hand, which is handy when carrying clothes to the basket.

The liner is made from 160 g/m² polycotton fabric and can be removed for hand or machine washing. That gives you the option of cleaning the fabric separately rather than trying to reach inside the hamper. The basket is also collapsible and assembles without tools, so it can be folded away when it is not needed.

Customer feedback commonly highlights the generous capacity, straightforward assembly and sturdy feel. Some buyers also say it fits well in smaller bedrooms and works in bathrooms or laundry rooms. These are individual impressions rather than a guarantee of fit or performance in every home.

Fit and sizing

The hamper measures 46 x 33 x 60 cm and has a rectangular profile. Its 90L capacity is suited to collecting laundry over several days or holding bulky items such as towels and bedding, while the narrower footprint may be easier to place than a wider basket. Check the available floor space against those dimensions, particularly if you plan to tuck it beside furniture or in a corner.

The cut-out handles on the sides are designed to make moving it easier. The lid is included, and the product name specifies a dove grey and cream white finish. If the basket will sit in a visible part of a bedroom or bathroom, that colour and woven appearance are worth considering alongside its size.

Everyday use

For a household laundry routine, the lid provides a neater-looking place to collect clothes, while the removable liner can be taken out when it needs washing. The ventilation in the synthetic rattan is intended to let air circulate, the basket is not described as a sealed container. Its collapsible design is useful if you need to store it between uses or clear the floor temporarily.

Compared with a simple open basket, this design adds a lid, washable liner and a frame rated to hold up to 25 kg. It makes sense if you want one larger, covered hamper that can also be folded away. It might not be a great match if your space cannot accommodate its stated footprint or you need a laundry sorter with separate compartments, no divided sections are listed.

Questions before you buy

Can the liner be washed? Yes. It can be removed and washed by hand or in a washing machine.

Does it need tools to assemble? No tools are required, and instructions are included.

Can it be folded away? Yes. The hamper is collapsible for storage when it is not in use.

Is it worth it?

The LCB51WG is a practical choice if you want a large-capacity hamper with a lid and a removable, washable liner, rather than a basic open basket. Its dimensions and 25 kg load limit give useful points to compare with your space and laundry needs before choosing it. The foldable construction is an added benefit for occasional storage, while the design remains focused on one general laundry compartment rather than sorting clothes into categories.
