Smoby 310191 Metal Frame Swing Plus, 2-in-1 Seat, 180 cm
Product description
A 180 cm metal frame gives children a dedicated place to swing, while the included 2-in-1 evolutionary seat makes this a complete swing set for a home play area.
The frame has no welded joints, a design detail intended to limit the risk of breakage. Its dimensions are 120 x 124 x 120 cm, so you can plan where it will sit before assembly.
Recommended for ages 18 months to 12 years, the swing has a maximum weight recommendation of 25 kg. It accommodates one seat, making it a straightforward choice for individual play.
Key points
The Smoby Metal Frame Swing Plus combines a metal structure with a 2-in-1 evolutionary seat. Rather than choosing a frame and seat separately, this set brings those elements together in one product. The seat’s 2-in-1 design is a useful feature for families looking for an evolving swing seat as part of a child’s play space.
At 180 cm high, the frame gives the swing a defined presence in the play area. Its stated dimensions of 120 x 124 x 120 cm also help with planning the space needed for installation. The metal frame and unwelded construction are practical points of difference for shoppers comparing swing sets by frame design.
How to use it
Assembly is required, and the frame must be anchored into the ground with cement. Choose the intended position before putting it together, allowing room for the swing to move and access to the anchoring area. Follow the assembly and anchoring instructions for the set so the frame is secured as intended before use.
Once installed, the swing provides a simple option for individual play. Its single-seat setup suits a child taking a turn on their own, whether the swing is part of a larger play area or a standalone feature in the garden.
Usage tips
Use the recommended age range of 18 months to 12 years and the maximum weight recommendation of 25 kg as practical guides when deciding whether the swing is suitable for a child. The one-seat configuration is best suited to taking turns rather than shared use on the seat.
For a typical play routine, children can use the swing for a short break outdoors or as part of an everyday play area. Keeping the frame’s required cement anchoring in mind when choosing its position helps make installation part of the initial setup, rather than an afterthought. The dimensions make it easier to assess the space before assembly begins.
Should you buy it?
Worth considering if you want a metal-frame swing with its own 2-in-1 evolutionary seat, rather than selecting a frame and seat as separate purchases. The unwelded frame design, 180 cm height and single-seat arrangement give you clear details to weigh up against other swing styles. For a child within the stated age range and weight recommendation, it offers a dedicated place for individual swinging, with ground anchoring by cement as part of the installation.
