## How to use it

Use the figure as the central character in tabletop adventures, inventing scenes around the Shadow Dragon and the shadow world. Its adjustable wings give children a feature to reposition during play, while the coloured, transparent details help distinguish the dragon as it takes its place in a story. The figure also suits collecting: it belongs to the ELDRADOR CREATURES range, whose imaginative settings include lava, ice, jungle, stone and shadow worlds.

A single-character figure offers a straightforward alternative to a multi-piece playset when the aim is to focus on one creature and build a story around it. Children can create their own battles and challenges, then change the narrative as the dragon moves between imagined worlds. It is designed for indoor use, with a tabletop setting providing a natural place to play or display the figure between adventures.

## Usage tips

Invite children to choose where the Shadow Dragon’s story begins and what challenge it faces. Moving the wings as the story develops adds a simple physical element to imaginative play, without requiring assembly or batteries. The figure can also serve as a character in a growing ELDRADOR collection, each play session can centre on a new setting or a different story idea.

This toy contains small parts and presents a choking hazard. It is not suitable for children under 3 years. As with any small figure, keep the age guidance in mind when choosing it for a child.

## Buying verdict

The Schleich Shadow Dragon is a focused choice for children who enjoy dragon characters, creature collections and open-ended tabletop play. Its detailed finish, coloured transparent elements and adjustable wings give the figure character, while its single-piece format keeps play simple to start. Choose it for a child who would enjoy creating their own shadow-world adventures around one distinctive dragon.
