RugVista Clio In & Outdoor Rug, 140 x 200 cm, brown, medium pile, UV-resistant
Product description
The medium pile adds a softer finish underfoot while helping define a living or dining area. At 140 x 200 cm, this rectangular brown RugVista Clio can also suit a bedroom, kitchen, hallway or home office, according to the product details.
It is made from polyester and polypropylene and is machine-made. The listing describes it as suitable for indoor and outdoor settings, although its usage specification says Indoor, that difference is worth weighing up if you intend to place it outside.

Usage tips
For day-to-day care, the product information recommends vacuuming on a low setting. Deal with spills promptly using a damp cloth and mild detergent, and avoid rubbing. The manufacturer also advises mild detergent for stains and says the rug can be washed at 30 C without spinning or tumble drying. As the product name specifies hand washing only, do not assume it is suitable for a machine wash, follow the care label for the exact method.
An anti-slip underlay is listed as compatible, and the rug is described as suitable for use with underfloor heating. Those details may help when planning its position in a room. Its size makes it a different choice from a narrow runner: it can cover a broader area, while a runner may suit a long, confined passage better. Worth considering if you want a brown, medium-pile rug to mark out a seating or dining space and prefer synthetic fibres that the product information describes as easy to clean.
Getting the most from it
The maker presents the rug for both indoor and outdoor use, and describes the synthetic fibres as resistant to wear, moisture and dirt. However, the structured product specification lists indoor use only. Better avoided if outdoor placement is essential and you cannot confirm that the specific Clio rug is intended for your setting. Its stated UV resistance is relevant to considering a brighter location, but it does not resolve the difference between those use descriptions.
The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification and stain-resistant specification are useful points to compare with rugs that do not list those details. The construction is machine-made rather than hand-knotted, so the choice is best judged by its stated size, materials, pile and care requirements rather than assuming a handmade finish. The listing gives no details about additional items included, so plan around the rug itself rather than expecting an underlay or accessories.
Should you buy it?
The Clio is worth shortlisting if its 140 x 200 cm footprint, brown colour and medium pile suit the room, and you want the option of using it with underfloor heating or an anti-slip underlay. Its polyester and polypropylene build, stain-resistance claim and stated certification add practical points for everyday home use. For an outdoor setting, the conflicting usage information is the main point to settle before choosing it, for indoor use, the listed dimensions and care instructions give a clearer basis for deciding whether it fits your space and routine.
