Rhino Analogue (20th Anniversary Edition) by a-ha, 2-CD Deluxe Album
Product description
If you’re looking for a-ha’s eighth studio album in an anniversary edition, Analogue brings the original 2005 release together with a substantial selection of additional material. This deluxe 2-CD edition includes 21 bonus tracks, making it a useful choice for listeners who want more than the album alone.
The collection also features remastered audio and familiar singles from the record.
Why it makes sense
Analogue pairs the album with B-sides, remixes, demos and alternate versions, offering several ways to revisit its songs and hear material connected to the original release. Of the 21 bonus tracks, 15 are previously unreleased, giving the anniversary edition particular appeal to a-ha fans interested in material beyond the standard album. The set includes the singles ‘Celice’, ‘Analogue (All I Want)’ and ‘Cosy Prisons’.
The album was produced by a-ha and Martin Terefe, mixed by Flood, and features backing vocals from Graham Nash. Bill Inglot remastered the audio. Those credits make this edition a considered pick for listeners who value both the songs and the people involved in shaping the record. Want an anniversary release that adds listening material as well as a remastered album? This edition brings both together across two CDs.
Quick overview
‘Analogue’ was originally released in late 2005 and is a-ha’s eighth studio album. This 20th anniversary edition is a deluxe 2-CD set in the Pop genre, with 21 bonus tracks spanning B-sides, remixes, demos and alternate versions. Fifteen bonus tracks were previously unreleased. The singles ‘Celice’, ‘Analogue (All I Want)’ and ‘Cosy Prisons’ are included, and the audio has been remastered by Bill Inglot.
For a practical listening session, you can return to the album’s original sequence, then explore the bonus material for related versions and recordings. It suits a-ha listeners building a physical collection, as well as anyone who wants an expanded edition rather than a standalone copy of the original album.
Who it’s for
This release is well suited to a-ha fans who already know the album and want a broader edition, especially those drawn to demos, remixes and alternate versions. It also makes sense for someone discovering ‘Analogue’ who would like the singles alongside extra material in one set. If you mainly want the original album, a standard edition is a more direct format, this deluxe release is for listeners who value the additional tracks and anniversary presentation.
