## Description

For a relaxed family game indoors, set up the ice blocks, place the penguin on the playing area and take turns following the spinner’s instructions. The challenge is to tap out the right blocks without letting the penguin fall.

This is a hands-on game for children and adults who enjoy quick turns and a little suspense. If you want a simple shared activity, it offers a different kind of play from longer board games that rely on extended rules or planning.

The blue-and-white plastic game is designed for 2 to 4 players and measures 22 x 25 x 8.5 cm. Its playful penguin theme and straightforward aim make it easy to bring out for a short game at home.

## Key takeaways

The aim is clear: keep the penguin standing while players knock out ice blocks with the supplied hammers. A turntable guides what happens next, adding a changing prompt to each turn and giving players a reason to think about which blocks to remove. The mix of careful tapping and decision-making supports dexterity and strategic thinking through play.

The set includes a game table made from a frame, 38 ice blocks and 4 legs, along with a turntable supplied in separate parts, 2 hammers and 1 penguin playing piece. The game is made from plastic and is intended for indoor use. The playing area measures 22 x 25 x 8.5 cm, so it can be set out on a suitable surface for a round with family or friends.

## Who it’s for

Penguin Trap Game is intended for children aged 3 and over, with play for 2 to 4 people. Its simple turn-by-turn format gives younger players a way to join a group game, while the possibility of bringing down the penguin keeps each move engaging for adults too. Players can also take turns in teams, making it a flexible choice for a family game or a small get-together.

The game contains small parts and is not suitable for children under 36 months because of the choking hazard. The instructions are in English.

## How to use it

Assemble the playing area from the frame, ice blocks and legs, then position the penguin and set up the turntable. Players take turns spinning the wheel and following its direction, using a hammer to tap out the indicated ice blocks while trying to keep the penguin upright. The player who causes the penguin to fall loses the round. With the spinner setting the next move, the game combines careful handling with a simple element of chance.

## When it makes sense

Choose this game when you want an indoor activity that can bring several people together without a long run-up to the play. It suits a short family game after school or a few rounds with friends, especially when a shared challenge is more appealing than individual play. The compact playing area, penguin theme and hands-on ice-block challenge give everyone a clear role from the first turn, making it a practical addition to a collection of games for relaxed group play.
