Quercetti 5463 Magnetic Numbers Set, Multicoloured Plastic for Metal Surfaces
Product description
Key specifications
For a quick number game at the kitchen table, these magnetic numbers can be placed on a Quercetti board or another metal surface. They offer a simple, hands-on way to arrange and move numerals during early learning activities. Would this suit a child who learns by handling and rearranging pieces? The set is made from plastic, and the numbers are multicoloured.

Feedback is mixed on the quantity: one buyer notes there are four number 1 pieces, while another mentions that the size differed from their expectation. The product details do not list how many of each numeral are included, so it is difficult to plan around a particular number of repeats.
Practical tips
Use the pieces on a suitable board or another metal surface, moving them around to form and change numbers as part of a game or learning activity. A whiteboard may be a practical place to arrange them, provided it is magnetic, the product information also allows for use on other metal surfaces. They are not described as suitable for every board material, so a non-metal surface should not be assumed to hold them.
The shatterproof and non-toxic material details may be reassuring for a toy used in learning activities, but the supplied safety warning is still important: choking hazard. Keep that warning in mind when deciding whether the set is appropriate for the child using it. It is a more tactile approach than practising numbers on paper, while children who need structured exercises or a specified range of digits may prefer a resource that sets those out explicitly.
Who it’s for
This set is aimed at number-based play and educational activities where the pieces can be placed on a board or metal surface. It could suit a family activity at home or a classroom exercise, without needing a screen or a written worksheet for every task. The product details do not state an age range or give a full breakdown of the numerals, so those looking for a particular quantity or age recommendation will not find that information here.
Before you decide
Which surfaces can the numbers be used on? The product information says they can be used with Quercetti boards or on any metal surface. Buyers also report that they hold on whiteboards, though the surface needs to be magnetic.
What are the numbers made from? They are plastic and described as made from non-toxic, shatterproof materials. The safety warning identifies a choking hazard.
Is the number of each digit specified? No full quantity breakdown is provided. Buyer feedback mentions four pieces of the number 1, but that does not establish the count of every numeral in the set.
When it makes sense
It makes sense if you want movable numerals for hands-on number practice and have a suitable magnetic board or metal surface available. Compared with paper-based activities, the pieces can be rearranged directly, which may help keep a short exercise active. You may want to skip it if you need a confirmed count of each digit or an age range before choosing, neither is stated in the product information.
