## Description

Some bathroom upgrades focus on the room as a whole, this gasket mat is for a more specific job: reducing noise and vibration where a wall-hung toilet pan meets its frame. Its polyethylene foam layer sits between the ceramic pan and frame.

Designed for Geberit and Grohe wall-hung WC frames, it helps decouple sound transmitted through the installation. That makes it a practical detail for a new bathroom fit-out or an existing installation where noise from the pan is a concern.

The mat can be trimmed to suit the installation, giving you a discreet layer at the point where the pan is fixed. Its white finish sits behind the sanitaryware rather than becoming a visible bathroom feature.

## Practical tips
The mat is installed between the ceramic toilet pan and its frame. Once the pan has been fixed in position, trim the excess material around it for a neat fit. This provides a straightforward way to add a layer for reducing vibration and noise transmission at the mounting point, without requiring additional sealing materials.

Is the priority a quieter pan-to-frame installation, rather than treating sound throughout the room? This gasket is made for that targeted application. It is also suitable for wall-hung bidets, so the same type of insulation can be used at either sanitaryware fixing point. Check that the fixing centres are 180mm or 230mm and that the frame is a compatible Geberit or Grohe model before installation.

Buyers often describe the mat as effective for its intended purpose and comment positively on its fit. Some also mention that the openings align with toilet pipes and screw holes, which can help when positioning it during fitting. These are customer impressions, the practical fit depends on the installation and the specified fixing centres.

## What you get
The item is one white rectangular polyethylene foam gasket mat. Its 37W x 42H cm dimensions provide material to position behind the pan and trim after fixing, while the 0.4D cm depth forms the insulating layer between the ceramic and frame. It is a focused accessory for the mounting interface, rather than a general room soundproofing product.

## Is it worth it?
For a wall-hung WC or bidet installation that needs a layer between the sanitaryware and frame, this mat offers a direct, purpose-made solution. Its compatibility with Geberit and Grohe frames, choice of 180mm or 230mm fixing centres and trim-to-fit installation make it useful for both new work and acoustic improvements to an existing setup. Choose it when the aim is to reduce noise and vibration at the pan mounting point while keeping the finished installation discreet.
