## Description

Adjustable sensitivity helps the Proster TOPPST224 detect AC voltage across two selectable ranges, making it useful for quick, non-contact checks around wiring and switches.

Sound and light alerts give a clear indication when voltage is detected. The built-in LED torch also illuminates dim corners while you work.

Its pen shape and pocket clip make it easy to carry for household electrical checks. The tester can distinguish live and neutral wires at close range without direct contact.

## Who it’s for
This tester suits household electrical checks where a quick indication of AC voltage is useful, such as checking around a switch or identifying live and neutral wires at close range. Its non-contact design offers a different approach from a contact-style meter: you can check for voltage without placing the tester directly against the conductor. It is designed for AC voltage detection and does not measure DC voltage.

It’s a good fit if you want a portable tester with selectable voltage ranges, adjustable sensitivity and both audible and visual alerts. The pocket clip helps keep it close at hand between checks, while the torch is useful when working in a cabinet or another poorly lit spot.

## Getting the most from it
Select the 12–1000V or 48–1000V range using the S button to suit the check, then use the tester’s alerts to identify detected voltage. Its three sensitivity levels provide a choice of detection setting, and automatic live/neutral distinction supports quick wire identification at close range. The built-in torch can help illuminate the work area without needing a separate light.

Buyers often describe the pen as easy to use, including for wiring and simple switch tasks. Feedback is more mixed on sensitivity and detection consistency, so use the tester as an indication tool and follow safe electrical working practices when handling wiring.

## Should you buy it?
Choose the Proster TOPPST224 if you want a compact, non-contact AC voltage tester for routine checks around household wiring and switches. Its selectable ranges, adjustable sensitivity, audible and visual alerts, and integrated torch bring the key checks together in a pocketable pen format.
