Its rotating dies cover cable sizes from 6 mm² to 50 mm², while the set also includes a cable cutter, ring terminals and heat-shrink tubing. Use it for electrical repairs, automotive or marine work, and DIY cable projects where a secure lug connection is needed. The adjustable dies and supplied connectors make it a practical kit for preparing and finishing cable ends in one place. ## Quick sizing guide Choose the die to match the cable size: the tool accommodates 6 mm², 10 mm², 16 mm², 25 mm², 35 mm² and 50 mm², with the sizes also described as similar to AWG 8, 6, 4, 2 and 0. The included closed-end ring terminals cover AWG 10, 8, 6 and 4, with two ring sizes for each terminal size. This helps when fitting cable lugs for different connections, rather than relying on a single terminal size. The cable cutter is designed for copper or aluminium cable up to 70 mm². For a crimp, press the screw and rotate the dies to the required size, position the terminal and cable, then operate the tool to form the connection. A spring-loaded locking pin holds the rotating head in place. ## Benefits This set combines the main crimping tool with a separate cable cutter and a selection of terminals and tubing. That is useful when a job involves cutting cable, fitting a lug and covering the finished connection, without having to source each of those components separately. The 2:1 heat-shrink tubing comes in red and black, with two sizes listed in the set. The hardened-steel crimping pliers have an ergonomic lever design and soft rubber handles, which help make hand crimping more manageable across the available die sizes. The cutter has heat-treated cutting edges for copper and aluminium cable. Need to handle more than one cable size during a repair? The interchangeable dies let you set the tool to the size required for each connection. Buyers often praise the crimping results and say the set provides the tools needed for the job. Feedback on durability is mixed, so careful selection of the matching die and terminal is important to producing a firm connection. ## Spec sheet - Type: Battery cable lug crimping tool set - Crimping sizes: 6 mm², 10 mm², 16 mm², 25 mm², 35 mm² and 50 mm² - Cutter: For copper or aluminium cables up to 70 mm² - Handle: Ergonomic, soft rubber grip - Tool material: Hardened steel - Included: Crimping tool, cable cutter, 100 ring terminals and 100 pieces of 2:1 heat-shrink tubing - Uses: Automotive, marine, electrical repairs and DIY projects ## Should you buy it?
