## Description

For fitting threaded fasteners to panels, bicycle attachments, furniture or decorations, this Proster rivet nut gun kit brings six metric sizes together in one hand tool. Its 14-inch length and double compound hinges provide extra leverage, including in hard-to-reach areas. The kit also includes 150 rivet nuts and a carrying case. It offers a multi-size approach for jobs that would otherwise call for a setter and fixings in just one thread size.

## How it fits
Choose the mandrel and rivet nut to match the thread size needed for the job. The set covers M3, M4, M5, M6, M8 and M10, so the same tool can be configured for different fasteners as work changes. This makes it useful for tasks such as attaching fittings to body panels or bicycle attachments, and assembling or repairing furniture and decorative pieces. The extended handles and double compound hinges are designed to maximise leverage, helping when access around the fixing is restricted.

## Benefits
The alloy-steel construction gives the tool a sturdy working frame, while the TPU rubber-coated handles provide a non-slip grip. Its hand-operated format is suited to repair and assembly work where a threaded fixing is needed, without relying on a single-size setter. Having six interchangeable mandrels and a selection of rivet nuts in the kit makes it practical to move between common metric thread sizes without sourcing each size separately.

A carrying case keeps the tool and its components together between jobs and makes the set easier to store or transport. Buyer feedback often highlights the tool’s sturdy feel, functionality and ease of use. Some customers, however, report that their tool broke quickly, and comments on usability are mixed. These differing experiences are worth bearing in mind alongside the kit’s documented range and features.

## What to clarify
**Which thread sizes can the tool set?** It comes with interchangeable mandrels for M3, M4, M5, M6, M8 and M10 metric rivet nuts.

**What is included in the kit?** The set includes the rivet nut gun, six mandrels, 150 rivet nuts and a carrying case.

**What kinds of projects is it suited to?** It is intended for a range of riveting work, including body panels, bicycle attachments, furniture and decorations.

## When it makes sense
This kit suits DIYers and repair work where threaded rivet nuts are needed across several metric sizes. The longer handles and compound hinges are useful when added leverage or access to a tight working area matters, while the included case helps keep the parts organised between projects. Choose it when you want one hand tool to cover the listed M3–M10 sizes rather than a setter dedicated to a single thread.
