## Description

For checking pool or hot tub temperature from indoors, the OFFCUP wireless thermometer pairs a water sensor with an LCD monitor. The screen shows water temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, so you can check conditions without having to read the sensor at the water’s edge.

Its IP68-rated sensor is designed for use in water, while the indoor unit keeps readings and time visible in one place. The monitor can also record the water temperature’s highest and lowest values, helping you keep track of changes between checks.

## Key points

The sensor measures water temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, and the indoor unit operates from 0°C to +50°C. Temperature readings are available in Celsius or Fahrenheit, with a stated accuracy of ±1°C and a resolution of 0.1°C. These details make it easier to follow the temperature in the units you prefer and compare readings over time.

The LCD also displays the time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format. For households monitoring more than one area, the indoor monitor supports up to three pool thermometers simultaneously. That can be useful when keeping an eye on separate pools, hot tubs or other suitable water environments. The sensor is also suitable for ponds, aquariums and spas.

Compared with a thermometer that must be read beside the water, this wireless setup lets you check the display from inside. For example, you can take a reading from the house before heading out to use the pool, then refer to the recorded high and low temperatures when deciding how conditions have changed.

## How to use it

Place the sensor in the pool or other water you want to monitor and keep the LCD monitor indoors for convenient viewing. The wireless connection transmits readings from the sensor to the monitor. Use the display controls to choose Celsius or Fahrenheit and a 12- or 24-hour clock format. The included fixing rope can be used to secure the thermometer as needed.

The package includes the wireless pool thermometer and an instruction manual. The unit uses two AA batteries, which are not included, so have these ready for setup. For monitoring several locations, the indoor unit can connect with up to three thermometers.

## Usage tips

Choose the temperature unit you normally use before comparing readings, and check the maximum and minimum records to see the range reached since your last look. Keep the indoor monitor in a convenient place where its LCD is easy to read, while the sensor remains in the water being measured. If you are using additional thermometers, assign each to the area you want to monitor so the readings are useful for your routine.

The stated water-temperature range makes the sensor suitable across a broad span of pool and spa conditions. Its IP68 waterproof rating supports use as a submerged water thermometer, while the indoor display provides a practical way to check readings from indoors.

## Final verdict

The OFFCUP is a practical choice for pool and hot tub owners who want water readings on an indoor LCD rather than having to check a display beside the water. Celsius and Fahrenheit options, highest and lowest temperature records, and support for up to three sensors make it useful for regular monitoring across one or several water areas.
