## Description

At 25 cm per section, the OFFCUP bird spike set is designed to cover roof edges, balcony rails and other narrow perching spots. Its 201 stainless steel construction suits outdoor use. Arrange the seven sections in a row or position them separately to suit the areas you want to protect.

## How to use it

Insert the spikes into the holes in each base, then position the sections along the surface where birds tend to land. The bases can be joined to create a longer run, or arranged to follow a curved edge. Use the included cable ties to secure them to a suitable rail or structure, nails, screws or mounting glue are also listed as fixing options. Choose a secure fixing method for the surface and location, and keep the pointed sections clear of areas where people need to place their hands.

For example, a run along a balcony rail or roof rim can help discourage birds from perching there and leaving droppings. The spikes act as a visual and physical deterrent, rather than harming birds, and their multi-angle layout is intended to deter birds approaching from different directions.

## Strengths

The modular format gives you a practical way to cover a longer edge without relying on one continuous strip. Use all seven sections together for a run, or place them at separate landing points such as a window sill, roof rim or outdoor air-conditioning unit. The bases can also be arranged along curved surfaces, making the set adaptable to more than one straight, uninterrupted edge.

The stainless steel construction is intended for outdoor conditions, including exposure to wind, sun, rain and snow. That makes it suitable for locations where a deterrent needs to stay in place through changing weather. With 15 spikes on each base, the design presents a multi-angle barrier to birds looking for a place to settle.

If you are weighing up individual deterrents against a connected row, would a modular set better suit the edge you need to cover? These sections let you choose the arrangement and extend coverage across several landing spots, while the supplied ties offer a straightforward way to fasten them to a compatible structure.

## When it makes sense

A solid pick if pigeons or other birds regularly settle on a roof edge, balcony railing, window sill or similar outdoor surface. It is particularly useful when you want to address several perching points with one set, or create a longer line from separate sections. For a typical setup, measure the area, arrange the bases to match its shape and secure them firmly before use. The result is a physical deterrent suited to keeping common landing areas less inviting, with stainless steel sections that can be arranged to fit the space.
