## Description

## Quick overview
Dual-band WiFi 6 helps extend a home network into rooms where the router’s signal is weaker, making it easier to keep everyday devices connected across more of the home. The NEWFAST extender supports combined data rates of up to 3000 Mbps, with 2400 Mbps on 5 GHz and 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, and includes a Gigabit Ethernet port for a wired connection.

It supports WiFi 6 (802.11ax) as well as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards. Beamforming, OFDMA and MU-MIMO are included, with the stated coverage extending up to 3200 square feet and support for 64+ connected devices. It can be used as a WiFi repeater or in access point mode.

## Best use cases
This extender is suited to homes where the existing router serves most rooms but leaves a weaker-signal area that needs better coverage. A bedroom, home office or basement can benefit from placing the extender between the router and the area where the connection is weaker. It needs to remain within range of the router’s WiFi network to extend that connection.

For households with several phones, laptops, tablets, TVs or other connected devices, OFDMA and MU-MIMO help the extender communicate with multiple devices. The Gigabit Ethernet port also gives a desktop PC, games console or smart TV the option of a wired network connection. Would a wired link be more useful for a device in a fixed position? The Ethernet port makes that possible without relying on a wireless connection for that device.

## Usage tips
Use the WPS button for setup, then position the extender in an area that still receives the router’s signal and is closer to the room needing coverage. Keeping it within range of the existing WiFi network is important for extending that connection. If the router and extender are placed too far apart, the extender may not receive the network it needs to relay.

Choose the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band according to the device and the connection you need, and use the Gigabit Ethernet port for a compatible wired device. WPA3 and WPA2-PSK security protocols are supported. The package includes the WiFi extender and a user manual.

## Practical questions
What speeds does the extender support? Its combined dual-band data rate is up to 3000 Mbps: 2400 Mbps on 5 GHz and 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The actual band available depends on the connected network and device.

Where should it be placed? Put it between the router and the area with a weaker signal, while keeping it within range of the router’s WiFi network. This lets it receive the connection it is intended to extend.

Can I connect a device by cable? Yes. The built-in Gigabit Ethernet port provides a wired connection for devices such as a desktop PC, smart TV or games console.

## Buying verdict
For households looking to extend an existing WiFi network rather than rely on the router alone, the NEWFAST combines dual-band WiFi 6, repeater and access point modes, and a wired Ethernet option in one device. Its stated coverage and multi-device support suit homes with several connected devices, while WPS setup and flexible placement make it a practical choice for bringing a weaker-signal room into the home network.
