## Description

Some action figures are chosen for a character to display, while others invite hands-on play. Panthro brings both approaches together in a Masters of the Universe and ThunderCats crossover. Sixteen movable joints make it possible to set him in different attack poses. Interchangeable armour and weapons add more ways to shape each scene.

## What to know

This 5.5-inch Panthro figure reimagines the ThunderCats warrior in Eternia-style armour. The crossover gives collectors a distinct take on a familiar character, while the movable joints help make the figure part of imaginative action scenes rather than a fixed pose. His equipment includes a mace, nunchaco and axe, giving play a choice of weapons to work into the story.

The mace has an especially practical change-up: it can be removed from the arm attachment and fitted directly to the figure’s arm. Removable armour pieces include a mask, chest harness, skirt or belt armour, shoulder armour, glove, spiked wrist piece and leg armour. Two interchangeable pairs of lower-leg pieces let you choose between boots with a fur top and boots with tassels. A miniature comic book adds a story prompt for play, or a bit of context alongside a collection.

## Fit and sizing

At 5.5 inches, Panthro is a compact figure for tabletop play or a shelf display. His standard figure scale makes him easy to pose in a small scene, and the 16 points of articulation offer options for changing his stance without relying on a single static position. The layered armour and alternate lower-leg pieces also let you adjust his look to suit the scene you have in mind.

The figure is made from plastic and is recommended for ages six and up. It requires no assembly, so it can be ready for play without a build step. No batteries are required, the action comes from posing the figure and changing its equipment by hand.

## Tips for day-to-day use

For a new battle scene, start by choosing the calf pieces and armour, then set Panthro into a pose using the movable joints. Switching between the axe, nunchaco and mace gives the character a different role in each round of play. The mace’s arm attachment can be changed to its direct-fit configuration, so it can be presented as part of the figure’s equipment rather than held as a separate weapon.

The removable and interchangeable pieces also give children a way to vary Panthro’s appearance as they play. The miniature comic can help get a story started, whether the scene centres on the Masters of the Universe and ThunderCats crossover or an adventure of their own. After play, the figure’s articulated pose and distinctive armour make it straightforward to set up on a tabletop or display shelf.

## When it makes sense

Choose this figure for a child aged six or over who enjoys hands-on character play, or for a fan looking for a crossover interpretation of Panthro. Compared with a simpler figure intended mainly for one pose, this version puts more emphasis on articulation, swappable armour and weapon changes. That makes it well suited to play that moves between setting up scenes, changing equipment and inventing a story.

A solid pick if you want a recognisable ThunderCats character with a clear Masters of the Universe crossover design, useful posing options and several ways to customise his look. The combination of armour, three weapons and a miniature comic gives Panthro a defined role in imaginative play while also making him a distinctive addition to a character collection.
