Lifewit 24508 Magnetic Knife Drawer Organiser for 12 Knives, Black

For a kitchen where knives need a dedicated place but you want to keep the worktop clear, the Lifewit 24508 stores them inside a drawer. Its magnetic slots help hold knives in position as the drawer opens, while the lowered tips keep the blades neatly arranged and easy to locate when preparing food.

The black plastic insert holds up to 12 knives and one sharpener. A non-slip base helps it stay put during everyday use, making it a practical alternative to a countertop knife block.

Best use cases

Use the organiser to keep everyday knives together in a kitchen drawer, ready to reach when chopping ingredients or preparing a meal. The magnetic design keeps knives aligned as the drawer moves, and the spaced slots make them easier to grip and lift out. Want knives accessible without leaving a block on the worktop? This drawer-based layout gives them a consistent storage place while keeping the counter available for food preparation.

It can also help bring order to a drawer where knives and a sharpener might otherwise be stored separately. The slots are designed for knife storage, with space for up to 12 knives and one sharpener. Measure the inside of your drawer before choosing an insert so you can select a suitable fit.

The base has six rubber feet to help prevent the organiser sliding as you open and close the drawer. Drainage holes allow water to drain away, helping the insert dry after contact with moisture. It is made from food-grade PP plastic and is described as BPA-free. For everyday care, dry knives before putting them away and keep the drawer orderly so each knife can be lifted by its handle.

Pros

The main advantage is the combination of organised storage and easy access: knives have individual positions, and the magnetic slots help keep them in place when the drawer is moved. The rubber feet add stability, while the drainage holes are a useful detail in a kitchen storage space. Its black finish and modern style suit a straightforward, unobtrusive drawer setup.

Buyers commonly appreciate how the insert keeps knives arranged and readily visible, and they also mention the magnetic hold and the way it stays in place. These impressions reflect customer feedback rather than a guarantee, but they point to the practical features people value in an in-drawer organiser.

When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want to store a collection of knives in a drawer rather than use a block on the counter, and need room for a sharpener in the same organiser. The magnetic slots, non-slip feet and capacity for up to 12 knives support a tidy, accessible setup for regular meal preparation. Measure your drawer interior before ordering, then use the insert to keep knives together and close to hand without dedicating worktop space to storage.
