Lifewit 22142 Under-Bed Storage Bags, 6 x 75L, Grey

The low 15 cm profile of these Lifewit storage bags makes use of the space beneath a bed for clothes, bedding and other household items. Each bag measures 100 x 50 x 15 cm, giving you a generous place to keep seasonal belongings together and out of the way.

A zipped opening and a clear PVC window make it easier to reach stored items and see what is inside without opening every bag. Four handles, including stitched handles at the front, help when pulling a container from beneath a bed or out of a wardrobe.

Choose flexible bags when you want storage that can be folded away between uses, a rigid box may suit better when you need a hard-sided container. These six bags are made for practical indoor organisation, from spare sheets in a bedroom to clothes in a college dorm.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use one bag for a particular category, such as winter jumpers, spare bedding or towels, so the contents are easier to locate later. The transparent window lets you identify what is stored at a glance, while the zip closure keeps the contents together when the bag is moved. The breathable non-woven fabric is suited to clothing and bedding storage, keep the bags in a dry indoor space, as the material is not water resistant.

Before placing a filled bag under a bed, check that the available space suits its 15 cm height. The front handles give you a practical grip for drawing it out, while the side handles are useful when repositioning it. When the bags are not in use, their collapsible design lets you fold them away in a drawer or cupboard.

Why it’s worth it

Six separate containers make it easier to divide belongings by room, season or type, rather than keeping everything in one large storage space. With a 75-litre capacity per bag, there is room for bulky items such as blankets alongside everyday clothing and sheets. The rectangular shape makes the space beneath a bed or on a shelf useful for items that would otherwise take up wardrobe or cupboard room.

The zipper, viewing window and multiple handles each serve a straightforward purpose: close the bag, identify its contents and move it into position. Buyers describe the bags as spacious and useful for their intended storage needs. Some also raise concerns about sturdiness, including a report of a handle breaking, so handle a loaded bag with care when moving it. Worth considering if you want a flexible set for organising clothes and bedding, rather than a rigid storage solution.
