Laleni 70x140 cm Cotton Fitted Sheet for Baby Beds, White

For changing the bedding on a 70x140 cm baby or children’s bed, this white Laleni fitted sheet is made from 100% cotton. What matters most when choosing one: a secure fit, straightforward washing or the fabric itself? The listing specifies a plain design and cotton fabric weighing 130 g/m². It is supplied as one sheet.

Strengths

The cotton fabric is described as breathable, which may appeal if you want air to circulate beneath your child during sleep. The listing also says the fabric is tested for harmful substances under OEKO-TEX certification, a relevant detail for shoppers choosing bedding for sensitive skin. These are product claims, rather than a guarantee about how any individual child will respond to the material.

Buyer feedback is generally positive about softness and fit, and some buyers say the sheet washes well. However, sizing comments are not unanimous: some report that it is too small or has shrunk. That makes the mattress size and the possibility of changes after washing worth bearing in mind, rather than assuming every sheet will fit in the same way.

Highlights

This is a fitted sheet, so it is intended to sit around the mattress rather than needing to be tucked in like a flat sheet. The stated size is 70x140 cm, for baby beds and children’s beds of that size, and the design is plain white. If you are choosing between a single fitted sheet and a bedding set, note that this product is listed as one piece, it does not include additional bedding.

It’s a good fit if you want a simple cotton sheet for a 70x140 cm bed and prefer a fitted style for everyday bed changes. The white colour and solid pattern keep the look understated, while the stated fabric composition gives a clear basis for comparing it with sheets made from other materials. Buyer comments also include praise for the softness and how the sheet looks after washing, alongside the sizing concerns noted above.

Care & maintenance

The care instructions state that the sheet is machine washable, and the product details specify washing at 60°C. It is also described as suitable for tumble drying. Those instructions make it easier to plan routine laundry, but the reports of shrinkage mean that post-wash fit is worth considering if a close fit is important. Follow the care information supplied with the sheet rather than assuming all cotton bedding has identical washing requirements.

Should you buy it?

Choose it if the mattress measures 70x140 cm, a plain white finish suits the room and you are looking specifically for a 100% cotton fitted sheet. The breathable fabric and stated OEKO-TEX testing may also be useful points when comparing options for a baby’s bed. It’s not for you if your mattress is a different size, or if you need a set with more than one piece. Given the mixed feedback on sizing, this is a more considered choice when you are comfortable with the stated measurements and care instructions than when you need a guaranteed fit after washing.
