## Description

The 40 x 36 cm die-cast aluminium cooking plate gives the Klarstein Gatsby plenty of room for grilling fish, meat and vegetables. Its non-stick surface and adjustable 2000 W electric output make it practical for meals at home, on the balcony or in the garden.

Use it as a table grill or fit the stand for a freestanding setup. The hood, side tables and lower shelf help keep cooking essentials close at hand.

## Why it’s worth it

The Gatsby suits cooks who want an alternative to charcoal or gas grilling. Its electric heat has infinitely variable adjustment, so you can set the output to suit what you are cooking. The cooking plate’s 40 x 36 cm surface accommodates a range of ingredients, while openings in the plate allow excess fat to drain into the tray below.

For a more contained grilling setup, the stainless steel hood has a non-stick coating and a cool-touch handle. Two side tables provide space for sauces, seasonings, food or utensils, and the stand’s lower shelf offers another place to keep food and drinks. Use the grill on a table or assemble the stand with its four stainless steel legs for a freestanding arrangement.

## What to know

The Gatsby is rated at 2000 W and has a thermostat with an indicator LED. It is designed for indoor and outdoor use, and its adjustable output suits everyday grilling of fish, meat and vegetables as well as BBQ-style cooking under the hood. The detachable power cable has an integrated thermostat.

Assembly is required for the freestanding stand. Its two wheels help when moving the assembled grill, while the side tables and shelf provide useful space around the cooking area. Choose the table setup when you want a more compact arrangement, or add the stand for a dedicated grilling station.

## Maintenance

The grill plate is removable, making it easier to clean after cooking. Its non-stick coating helps food release from the surface, while the openings direct excess fat into the tray below. Allow the grill to cool before handling the plate, hood or tray, then clean the removable parts after use in line with the user manual.

## Before you decide

Can the Gatsby be used as a table grill? Yes. It is designed for table or standing use, with the stand fitted for a freestanding setup.

What can I cook on it? The electric grill is intended for fish, meat and vegetables, with variable 2000 W output for adjusting the heat to the cooking task.

What does the hood add? The stainless steel hood has a non-stick coating and a cool-touch handle, and provides a covered grilling setup for BBQ-style dishes.

## Is it worth it?

The Klarstein Gatsby is a practical fit for anyone who wants electric grilling with a choice of table or standing setup. Its generous cooking plate, adjustable output and useful preparation and storage surfaces make it well suited to everyday meals and outdoor get-togethers, without relying on charcoal or gas.
