## Description

For anyone looking to brighten a living room, bedroom or home office corner while making room for a few favourite items, the HOMCOM B31-331V70LG combines a floor lamp with two display shelves. Its tall, square profile is designed to sit neatly in a corner, bringing light and useful surface space to an area that might otherwise go unused.

The top and bottom lampshades create a soft glow, while separate switches make it easy to control the lights as part of your everyday routine.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Place the lamp in a corner where its shelves can display books, photos or ornaments without taking up a separate table. The two shelves each support up to 2kg, making them suitable for smaller decorative pieces and everyday reading material. At 156cm high, the lamp adds vertical interest while using a 26 x 26cm floor footprint.

The pull chain operates the top light and the foot switch controls the bottom light, so you can switch them on without bending down. For a relaxed evening setting, use the fabric shades to soften the light, in a reading corner or home office, choose which light to use according to the atmosphere you want. Assembly is required, and the lamp is supplied with a manual.

## Strengths
This design brings together two useful features rather than asking you to choose between a conventional floor lamp and a separate display stand. The shelves provide a place for small personal touches, while the top-and-bottom lighting gives the column a more layered look than a single-shade lamp. Its square shape also makes it straightforward to position against a corner, helping keep the centre of a room clear.

Buyers have praised the lamp’s appearance, particularly its style. Feedback on assembly is mixed: some find it manageable, while others say the instructions take a little more attention. Once assembled, the pull chain and foot switch offer simple, separate ways to operate the lights.

## Should you buy it?
It makes sense if you want a corner lamp that also gives you two shelves for display, without adding a separate shelving unit beside it. The HOMCOM B31-331V70LG is suited to indoor living spaces where a soft, shaded light and a compact place for books or ornaments are both useful. Its light grey finish, two lighting points and straightforward foot-operated control make it a practical fit for a reading corner, bedroom or living room.
