HARPER LIVING SMTB04 GU10 Smart Wi-Fi LED Bulb, RGB, Dimmable, 400 lm

RGB colour and dimming give you control over the mood and brightness of your room, while the Tuya app lets you adjust the light from your phone. This HARPER LIVING smart GU10 bulb also works with Alexa and Google Home, so you can choose app or voice control for everyday lighting.

With a 120° beam angle and up to 400 lumens of light, it is designed to spread illumination across an indoor space from a spotlight fitting.

What matters most

The SMTB04 combines RGB colour-changing light with dimmable brightness, letting you switch between a coloured look and white light to suit the moment. Use it for softer lighting in the evening or a brighter setting for everyday tasks, then adjust it through the Tuya app rather than relying only on a wall switch. The bulb has a 5.5W power rating and provides up to 400 lumens.

For hands-free control, connect it with Alexa or Google Home and use voice commands to change the light. You can also set custom timings in the app. For example, programme the light around your bedtime and arrange for it to come on gradually in the morning. That makes scheduled lighting a useful part of a regular evening or wake-up routine.

Size & fit

This bulb has a GU10 base, so it is intended for a compatible GU10 spotlight fitting. Its 120° beam angle gives a broad spread of light, making it useful where you want a spotlight-style bulb to illuminate more than a narrowly focused area. It is for indoor use.

Everyday use

A conventional fixed-colour bulb offers a simpler, set-and-forget approach, this smart bulb is for people who want to change colour, brightness or timing through an app or voice assistant. In a living room, for instance, you can choose a coloured setting for a relaxed atmosphere, then use white light for general use. App control also lets you adjust the light when you are away from home, according to the product details.

The controls offer more than a choice of colour: dimming helps tailor brightness to the activity, while timer settings let you plan when the light comes on. Once connected through Tuya, voice control with Alexa or Google Home provides another way to manage it without reaching for your phone.

Is it worth it?

Choose the HARPER LIVING SMTB04 if you want a GU10 spotlight bulb with app and voice control, adjustable brightness, RGB colour and scheduled lighting in one indoor light. Its broad beam and 400-lumen output suit everyday room lighting, while Tuya control makes it a practical fit for routines where changing the setting or timing matters as much as simply switching the bulb on.
