## Description

For a gaming session where a cable across the desk gets in the way, the GLORIOUS Model D3 Wireless offers 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and a battery system designed for swapping packs. Its solid shell weighs 69 g, keeping the mouse light for quick movement.

The optical sensor supports up to 30,000 DPI, while the included base enables a polling rate of up to 8K Hz. That combination gives you adjustable sensitivity and frequent position updates for responsive play.

The six-button, ambidextrous design also suits everyday computer use. Its charging dock doubles as a hub for the InfinitePlay system, with indicators for battery charge, polling rate and DPI settings.

## What stands out

InfinitePlay is built around swapping battery packs rather than pausing to plug in the mouse. When a pack is removed, the Guardian Battery System is designed to keep the mouse connected for a further 10+ hours, helping avoid an immediate interruption during a session. The charging dock serves as the hub for the system, so it has a practical role beyond charging.

The Model D3 pairs this wireless setup with a 69 g solid-shell design and an optical sensor rated up to 30,000 DPI. Use the DPI setting that suits your play style, then check it on the base alongside the polling-rate and charge indicators. Compared with a wireless mouse that needs to be connected for charging, this approach centres on changing packs and using the dock as the charging point.

Buyer feedback praises the ergonomic feel, with some also describing the mouse as smooth in use. Other buyers raise concerns about software compatibility, battery life and durability. These are individual experiences rather than a measure of every unit, but they are useful considerations when weighing the feature set.

## Highlights

The sensor’s 30,000 DPI maximum gives you a broad sensitivity range, while the included base supports up to 8K Hz polling over the 2.4GHz wireless connection. Optical switches are rated for 130 million clicks, and the six-button layout provides controls for gaming as well as regular desktop tasks. The mouse is listed as ambidextrous and compatible with Mac and PC, its stated minimum operating systems are macOS 14 Sonoma and Windows 11.

In practice, the removable-battery design is suited to longer sessions where keeping a wireless setup is a priority. The base brings charging and key status information together, so you can check charge, DPI and polling settings from one place.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the charging dock accessible on your desk so it can act as the battery hub and display the mouse’s settings. Before a session, use its indicators to check charge status and the selected DPI and polling rate. When changing a battery pack, the Guardian system is designed to maintain the connection for 10+ hours, giving you time to continue using the mouse before the swap needs attention.

## What to clarify

**How does InfinitePlay work?** The system uses swappable battery packs, and the Guardian Battery System is designed to keep the mouse connected for 10+ hours when a pack is removed.

**What does the charging base do?** It acts as the InfinitePlay charging hub and shows battery charge status, polling rate and DPI settings. It also enables polling rates of up to 8K Hz.

**What is included?** The listed components are the mouse, a swappable battery and a charging dock.

## Final verdict

The Model D3 Wireless brings a distinctive battery-swapping system to a light, 69 g gaming mouse, with a high-DPI optical sensor and an 8K-capable base. It’s a considered fit for players who want 2.4GHz wireless use, a charging hub with at-a-glance settings and the flexibility of removable battery packs.
