## Description

Hall Effect switches with Rapid Trigger let you adjust how the GMMK 3 HE responds, giving you more control during fast-paced games. Its 75% German QWERTZ layout keeps the keyboard focused on a compact desk setup. An 8,000Hz report rate and hot-swappable switches add useful options for tailoring your gaming setup.

## Everyday use

The wired USB-C connection suits a straightforward desk setup with a compatible PC, laptop or gaming console. With 81 keys in a 75% layout, the GMMK 3 HE is designed for gaming and everyday computer use where a smaller keyboard format is welcome. The German QWERTZ layout is a key point to consider if you want your keyboard’s layout to match the way you type.

The linear Glorious Fox HE switches use Hall Effect technology, with adjustable trigger settings and Rapid Trigger for responsive input. Dynamic keystrokes with a 4:1 ratio provide another way to configure how key presses are recognised. RGB backlighting brings colour to the setup, while the white finish and Doubleshot PBT keycaps give the keyboard a distinctive look.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The modular design has nine customisation points, so you can change parts to suit your preferences for appearance and acoustics. Hot-swappable switches make switch changes part of that setup, rather than locking you into one fixed configuration. The included switch puller, keycap puller, screwdriver, four HE sample switches and extra screws and O-rings support hands-on customisation.

For example, you could set the keyboard up for an evening gaming session, then use the same German QWERTZ keys for study or office work. The supplied braided cable keeps the wired connection central to the setup, and four alternate macOS keycaps are included for a more suitable keycap arrangement on a Mac. It’s a good fit if you want a gaming keyboard whose switches and appearance can be adapted over time, rather than a fixed-layout model with fewer customisation options.

## Key points

The GMMK 3 HE combines a 75% layout and 81 keys with linear Hall Effect switches, Rapid Trigger and an 8,000Hz report rate. Its USB-C wired connection and RGB backlighting suit a gaming desk, while the modular build gives you scope to personalise the keyboard’s look and acoustics. The German QWERTZ layout is important when choosing between keyboard variants, particularly if you want the key arrangement to match your usual typing.

## Practical questions

**Is this a wireless keyboard?** No. It uses a wired USB-C connection, making it suited to a desk setup with a compatible device.

**Which keyboard layout does it use?** It has a German QWERTZ layout. The layout may vary from product images, so the listed QWERTZ arrangement is the relevant detail when choosing this version.

**Can the switches be changed?** Yes. The keyboard is hot-swappable, and the box includes a switch puller and four HE sample switches for customisation.

## Is it worth it?

Choose the GMMK 3 HE if you want a 75% gaming keyboard with Hall Effect switches, adjustable trigger behaviour and room to customise its components. Rapid Trigger and the 8,000Hz report rate address responsive gaming, while the modular design gives you practical ways to personalise the board beyond its initial setup. Its German QWERTZ layout makes it a clear choice for anyone seeking that specific key arrangement alongside a configurable wired gaming keyboard.
