GDEVKHN 30-45 cm Curtain Tension Rods, White Metal, Pack of 2

For anyone needing a short curtain rod without drilling, this GDEVKHN pack includes two extendable metal tension rods in white, each listed for a 30-45 cm span. The product description also names suction cups and screws, and lists cupboards, windows, bookshelves and kitchen use among the intended settings. That gives it a more compact role than a full-width curtain pole: it is aimed at small openings where a short rod is the practical requirement.

The spring-loaded design is intended to clamp in place, while the painted finish is described as rust-resistant. If you are choosing between a quick-fit option for a cupboard and a more substantial pole for a larger window, the size range is the key distinction here. These rods are for the smaller job.

Usage tips

Measure the space where the rod is meant to sit before choosing it. The stated 30-45 cm range is the useful guide for deciding whether an opening is suitable, the supplied dimensions of 33L x 10W centimetres do not replace that extension range. The listing presents the rods as suitable for curtains, wardrobe and closet rods, bookshelves and kitchen use, so a short window covering or a cupboard curtain are plausible everyday applications.

The product name describes a no-drill clamping rod, but it also mentions suction cups and screws, while the mounting type is given as over-the-door. These details do not make the fitting method entirely clear. Check that the supplied arrangement suits the surface and opening you have in mind, rather than assuming every mounting option works in the same way. No maximum load is stated, so avoid relying on it for heavy curtains or other substantial loads.

Where it shines

A pair is useful when you have two small openings to cover, or want a matching short rod for separate cupboard or shelf spaces. For example, it could be considered for a lightweight curtain across a compact kitchen opening, where a standard-length pole would be unnecessarily large. Its white colour and metal construction are straightforward choices for a discreet fitting, and the spring inside is described as providing clamping strength.

You’ll like it if your priority is a pair of short rods for modest spaces and you do not want to start by drilling. A fixed pole may make more sense for a wider window or a more permanent installation, this set is better considered for compact placements within its stated span. The listing does not give a load rating, so the curtain’s weight should form part of the decision.

Worth noting

The product is listed as two pieces, in white metal, with an item weight of 0.09 kilograms. Its painted surface is said to resist rust, but there is no further information about the coating or the conditions it can withstand. Treat that as a stated feature rather than a reason to use the rods in any environment without checking suitability.

The mixed fitting descriptions are the main point to clarify before purchase. A spring-loaded clamp, suction cups, screws and an over-the-door mounting type suggest different ways of securing a rod, but the available details do not explain how those parts work together. If your setup depends on a particular fixing method, make sure the included arrangement matches it.

Buying verdict

This GDEVKHN set is worth considering for small curtain or storage openings where a 30-45 cm adjustable rod is the right scale. The pack of two may suit someone fitting more than one compact space, and the no-drill clamping description will appeal where avoiding holes is important. Not the best choice if you need a longer span, a stated capacity for heavier curtains or clear confirmation of a specific mounting method. For a lightweight curtain in a suitably sized opening, it offers a focused alternative to buying a larger, fixed pole.
