## Description

Light-up keys and built-in learning modes give beginners a visual guide as they start playing. The Funtaki FUN-6113K-WH has 61 keys, MIDI connectivity and a portable design. Choose it for guided practice and creative features in one keyboard, a simpler instrument may suit someone who only needs basic piano practice.

## The essentials

This electronic keyboard brings together learning tools and ways to explore music. Light-up keys and built-in lessons help new players follow along, while 200 demo songs offer material to practise with. For making music beyond the lessons, it features 200 instrument sounds, 200 rhythms and 32 percussion styles, giving players plenty of different sounds and backing patterns to try.

Dual speakers provide sound directly from the keyboard, and a 3.5mm headphone jack offers an option for private practice. The microphone input adds another way to use the instrument, while USB and MIDI connectivity support connection with compatible music software. GarageBand is listed as supported software. The keyboard also features tempo control, useful when working through a song at a comfortable pace.

A sheet music stand, microphone, key stickers, charging plug, audio-in cable and product manual are listed among the included items. Buyers often praise the sound and playability, including its appeal for children learning music. Some also describe it as straightforward to set up, while comments on functionality are mixed, with reports that some keys may not work as expected.

## Who it’s for

This model is aimed at beginners and offers features for both children and adults. For a first keyboard at home, the illuminated keys and learning modes make practice more interactive, for someone who wants to experiment with arrangements, the range of tones, rhythms and percussion gives more creative options than a basic practice-only instrument. At 3 kilograms, it is described as portable, making it easier to move between practice spaces.

It suits you if you want a beginner-friendly keyboard with more to explore than piano sounds alone. Use the headphone jack for focused practice, or try the microphone input and varied rhythms when playing more informally. The listed sheet music stand can keep music in view while you play.

## Getting the most from it

Start with a built-in lesson or demo song, then use the lighted keys to follow the notes as you practise. Adjust the tempo to work through a passage at a manageable pace, and explore the different instrument sounds once you are ready to move beyond the piano setting. Rhythm and percussion options can add accompaniment when practising or creating your own ideas.

For a quieter session, connect headphones through the 3.5mm jack. If you want to work with music software, the keyboard has USB and MIDI connectivity and lists GarageBand among its supported software. The microphone input also makes it possible to add a vocal element to playtime.
