## Description

For reading, studying or working at a desk, this clip-on lamp puts adjustable light where you need it. Its flexible gooseneck turns through 360°, so you can direct the beam towards a book, craft project or work area. Choose from three colour modes and ten brightness levels to suit the task. The clamp opens up to 6cm for attachment to a desk or headboard.

## Product specs
The Foneso lamp uses 48 LED chips and has three colour temperatures: warm light, warm white and cool white. Each has ten brightness levels, giving you a choice of settings for different tasks and times of day. Warm light can create a more relaxed atmosphere for winding down, while cool white is suited to reading, studying and work. Adjust the gooseneck to position the ring-shaped light over the area you want to illuminate.

It is USB-powered and supplied with a 52.5-inch USB cable. You can connect it to a compatible USB power source such as a laptop, desktop computer or USB socket. The metal clamp opens up to 6cm, making it practical for desks, tables, vanity cabinets and headboards. Its indoor design also suits focused activities such as reading and crafts.

Buyers appreciate the lamp’s adjustable settings and practical use for reading and colouring. Feedback on reliability and maximum brightness is mixed, so experiences vary.

## Who it’s for
This lamp suits anyone who wants task lighting that can be repositioned rather than a fixed beam from a conventional desk lamp. A reader can clip it to a headboard and angle the light towards a book, at a desk, the neck can be moved to illuminate notes or a craft project. The clamp fitting is useful where a lamp needs to sit on an edge, while the range of colour and brightness settings lets you tailor the light to the activity.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Attach the clamp to a firm edge within its 6cm opening range, then bend the gooseneck to direct the light onto your reading or work area. Try a warm setting for a softer evening atmosphere and a cooler setting for tasks such as studying. Adjust brightness to match the activity and surrounding light. For power, connect the USB cable to a suitable USB source, this makes it straightforward to use at a desk with a computer or another USB socket nearby.

## Practical questions
**How many lighting settings does it offer?** There are three colour modes, each with ten brightness levels, allowing you to choose a setting for reading, studying, crafts or relaxing.

**How does the lamp attach?** A metal clip opens up to 6cm and can be fitted to suitable edges such as a desk, table or headboard. The gooseneck then lets you position the light.

**How is it powered?** It uses USB power and comes with a 52.5-inch USB cable. Compatible sources listed for use include laptops, desktop computers and USB sockets.

## Final verdict
The Foneso combines a secure clip, flexible positioning and a useful spread of light settings in one reading and task lamp. It is a practical fit for a desk, bedside or craft area where you want to aim the light at a specific spot and switch between warmer and cooler illumination.
